So I had Kingdom Beast Megatron since february. However, I haven’t had the courage to open him out of the box because I do not want to break him due to the qc issues I heard. Same with Cheetor. But I do feel like taking him out at times but I don’t have the courage to do so. Should I bother or keep him in the box?

Do it. Just be careful of the leg flaps. They break easy if twisted incorrectly.

The feedback thread for Megs has a bunch of good tips for not breaking the leg assembly. I say go for it and just abstain from manhandling things

I didn’t know this figure had any common issues or weaknesses…mine seems fine…open and enjoy; he’s a cool toy.

In transforming the hips, don't pull out to the sides, pull down. It's a far easier action to perform, not to mention far less stressful on those joints.

You mean from beast to robot right? What about the tail? I hear it can snap.

Same here. Have both Megs and T-Wrecks with Tyrannocon on preorder. No issues with any of them. The hips are tricky when transforming from robot to dinosaur, but once you know how to do it it's fine.

It’s also entirely possible that I just got lucky and accidentally transformed him correctly…haha.

Beast Megatron is not as fragile as advertised. Be careful, and if you're really worried, you can leave him in bot mode. But definitely handle him - he's a chonky boy and feels great to pose. Go easy on his legs, mine has pretty tight leg joints.

Why on earth would you buy a figure and not unbox it? It may as well be an image on a web page.

But it's useless in the box. Open it or else sell it, IMO. I'd rather play with a broken toy than look at a perfect one trapped in the packaging.
