I don't think I can be bothered. I've been kind of sick all week, and the thought of a packed theatre just seems like too much. It opens on the 19th over here. Some of the screenings are already sold out. It sort of feels like it should be a big deal to me. Am I not a TF fan? I read stuff in the forum, and all the hype and enthusiasm is almost contagious. Yet somehow I'm just not that pushed. I think I'll be happier to just catch a matinee in a week or two.
If you are not going to enjoy it, I would say no. and I'm sure the rest of the sudience would appreciate it if you would not share your germs with them.
lets see Action= Hot chicks= Special effects= Big Honkin Robits= Summer Bluckbuster that will leave you speechless one way or another= And did i mention GIANT FRACKIN ROBIT FIGHTS Nah, dont see it.
yeah, I was actually kinda thinking that. What if it's swine flu!! I was just hearing the other week about how the mayor of New Orleans got stuck in quarantine in China after being on the same flight as a possible infectee. Though whatever it is I'll probably be over it by friday.
Swine flu was just media hype and nothing more. I'm sure you'll be fine in 8 days, and if you aren't, then don't see it.
Ha media is so taking this outta context bad in Australia. Yeah i live in the state with the highest number of swine flu cases but has anyone died? No... Back on topic. I'm waiting til the following week to see it to try and avoid the crowds at least a little bit and so a group of uni friends can come too.
Just like Nike: Just Do It! I wish I can see it in Imax opening Night/weekend. But my girl can't and most likely I'll see the following week =(
Yeah but it ain't so nice when the seats are preset on ur ticket and end up second row from the front up against the wall under a speaker... my experience with my first viewing of TF1. Was fun with all the excited people, but had a sore neck and ringing ears afterwards. Hoping to avoid that this time around.
I've been sick since Saturday, and should be fine tomorrow, if not, friday. So you'll be good. if not, I'd say wait until the time you would go, see how you feel if you can sit through and force your self to not cough (which sucks, haha) R.I.P. o wait, I mean, Get Well Soon!
I remember during the height of the bird flu hysteria, I was on a bus, and someone at the back started doing the worst coughing I've ever heard. Strangely enough, everyone got off at the next stop.
