It probably won't be nearly as many unless I find super bargains like I did on Brunt.
They could all be the same or I could mix a few of the following candidates:
Cog - I didn't decide I wanted to get Weaponizers until after he left stores, so I'd be starting at zero here.
Six-Gun - I have 3...well, 2 and Sideswipe's jet pack...
Crosshairs - probably has the best look for it, but I don't have any yet.
Ironworks - I might want several of these anyway.

 

I'd say Ironworks or Sixgun

 

I think a mix of Iron Works and Sixguns could be neat from a head canon lore standpoint.

the Iron Works could be construction drones reprogrammed for fighting in the early stages of the war while the sixguns are a more recent, combat from the start drone model perhaps reverse engineered from decepticon tech to explain the flying alt mode when Autobots lean towards ground vehicles.

 

I say Ratchet with Crosshairs' head is pretty passable

Well maybe someone can make a head on shapeways or something that way you're not spending $40+ on one trooper

 

The smart aleck response is to amass an army of Clearance Rack Chromias.

reprolabels did a conversion pack for siege Prowl to turn him into a KP style Autotrooper

 

I personally use Siege Cog and Sixgun

 

I'd say get duplicates of Siege Cog. He looks enough like a drone to me to be a generic trooper, IMHO.

Ok it just took me til now to notice that one of your Burts is in a wheelchair and that's brilliant.

 

I use discounted PotP Jazz for that purpose. I was going to use Tailgate, but Jazz turned out to be cheaper. I painted all their helmets white to set them apart from Jazz.

On the subject of older figures (probably not wholly relevant to the topic at hand), back in the day, I bought a trio of clearance-priced RotF Fallbacks to serve this purpose.

 

To add onto this, iirc Scattorshot is pretty cheap and could work as a commander style unit while also letting you have a horde of generic combiners to go up against the legions of Burt-powered cons.
