First movie Optimus in a ROTF box, pretty good repack to. The person used the twisty ties and all. it took me a second to relize what it was. i can find repack optimus but i cant find animated cliffjumper
Stupid toy repackers or whatever you call em. Imagine if a kid ended up getting some crappy toy instead of that shiny new one he was looking forward to getting. The people who do this are jerks.
This a case of some jerk buying the new optimus prime but returning it with the old one inside. Not just a official repack of the first movie leader as a target exclusive or something. That would be aggravating for line completionist. Thought the way you phrased it could be humorous/misleading. Heres some anti-repacker fun for you guys as it seems its a truly timeless problem:
i never re-packed before, but back in the day of price tags, i used to price swap when i was like 7-8 years old. mom would tell me i could only get something under $10, so i would find something cheap, and swap the price tags with what i wanted over $10. worked a few times, but i got caught once in a lie, and never did it again...
hey, the way i see it, it was people like me who tipped the scales in favor for barcode readers, leading to self checkouts, which now serve the greater good by allowing people to bring cheap toys to the check out, scanning them, and putting the higher priced item in the bag, and also allowing people to break street date in some cases. ... wait a minute... Deja vu LOL
That shit is so wrong, yet I can't help but laugh at the guy who did that. He's not fooling anyone...except for the idiot who took it back at customer service.
oh that sucks big time, the sad thing some non transformer fan parent would buy it not knowing better for there kid and the kid might never recognize its the older version of Optimus Prime
