Damn...I sold off a MIB, unsused Black Zarak 7 years ago. Took the shield out for pics and while unfolding it, the peg just flew off and I never knew why...until today.

I'll see your Slingshot and raise you a G2 Electro! Seriously, the Laser Rods are super cool, and it's a shame that this figure (and other cool figures) suffer from this. Pretenders Slog, Skyhammer, and Roadblock all suffer as well. I certainly agree that all of these figures that suffer from GPS should be taken care of. As someone already said, the demand has to be there, and sadly it's not for the most part.

I'v actually had to resort to buying second Bristleback and Slog inner robots, for display purposes only, so I can use my other (already cracked) Bristleback and Slog to form Monstructor.
A reissue of even a few of the GPS affected Transformers would be a God-send.

Man that sucks, I keep my electro in car mode because of those damn leges always breaking off. Most of these GPS figures will see a price increase yet again because of the rarity of getting one thats not broken.

It's all in the plastic. Particularly the type which has "swirls" in it. It was supposedly achieved by mixing two differently coloured plastics and then injecting it into the moulds. Looked nice, but eventually it would seem that the bond between the colours starts to break apart. Thus Scorponok is and will remain sturdy as hell while Black Zarak is an accident waiting to happen.

I wish they would every time this topic comes up my mind instantly goes to my poor G2 slingshot. I still have yet to check on my Electro for fear of what's broken on him.

That reminds me instantly of the thecollector75. Man watching his review was definitely cringe worthy always expecting something to break with every creak. There was another reviewer who's Black Roritchi just crumbled.

To be fair, we've already got a fixed Rattrap. The 10th anniversary Rattrap is a reissue of Transmetal Rattrap. And from what I can tell from others, as well as my own copy, it doesn't have chrome issues.

TM Megs is a bit trickier, but still totally possible. The Japanese version of the toy doesn't suffer from GPS, and aside from being SLIGHTLY darker color, and having "Destron" instead of "Megatron" on his shoulder, is exactly the same toy, sans GPS. He's kinda pricey, but as someone who recently splurged and bought one, I can say that he's totally worth it.

Yes, they should be reissued. They failed to make them correctly the first time around, so they should make the old gps victim figures again with the new corrections.
