Nice 'toon' Shockwave. Actually I wouldn't mind seeing a toon shader render of that.

Thanks Guys! I modeled it in one night, played around with angles and poses and lighting the next next, and made that image you see there.

KA, the eye glowing effect and background were added in using photoshop, I never learned how to make any glowing or anything like that yet, im still learning to model. I still have no idea what Nurbs are :p  this is just box modeling, as you can probably easily tell hehe

Sadly, the laptop my bro brought home, is gone now. I was gonna do Armada Perceptor next, I had his chest done, then I was gonna do Cybertron Hard Top. But oh well. So this shockwave model is lost now, it was fun while it lasted. I wanted to try and make it look like cartoon too, that would have been sweet.

Here's something else I was playing around with in Photoshop

i.e. you cheated XD which i do a lot too. fudging stuff in PS is hell lotta faster than getting it right in 3d most times. hey, i got deadlines, sue me :p

that said, i was fooled since the reflection of the glow on the chest looked quite convincing. good job! hope u find a solution to affording the program.
