Those missiles are cool

 

saw the metroplex ones last week or whatever. i am definitely interested in that set especially for the prices these usually go for.

i wish these had the magnet switches so they could be installed from the back.

 

Those lights just look weird. They should have at least made them white, to be less obvious when not turned on.

 

Well, I will be getting that upgrade kit for Shockwave! 

 

I'll take a missile pack and the lights just to mess with them

 

Definitely getting the missile kit to amp up SG Jetfire, and I have to admit, the Shockwave set does make me want him.

Those missle pods plus their other would looks amazing, the metroplex kit is meh, someone needs to make some hands for him other than dna design tho, they are so hard to get now

 

So how do I contact them to make hands for metroplex. I missed the DNA kit.

 

I may have to get those missles for my robotech stuff

 

Kind of an odd choice to do an upgrade for metroplex, a ten year old release, that essentially only lights.

well metroplex is hotter than ever these days. so it makes sense for them to try and get some of the metro bucks.

 

Was there a regular Jetfire version of those missiles that are allegedly specifically for the Shattered Glass repaint? What's the difference between them?

 

it's the same kit and nothing has changed on it. a friend of mine bought the kit when it first game out. he really likes it and says the quality of the wires is really nice.

I'm thinking the missiles might be the same, but that's a different interface. Looking through the list of SL-99 through SL-125, there isn't a kit that's box missile launchers for the wings for normal Jetfire like the SL-126 kit.

I wonder if there were issues with that design that they switched to this new one?

 

Yeah, there are. I own it. The way the missiles connect to the back makes it so all the weight of the wire and missile rests on a single point in an angle which basically makes them sag over a few hours. I think that making them shorter does fix the issue.

 

Woah they actually are different. I was expecting a recolor or something.

Looks like the OG Jetfire version fits better with his mold but the SG one works on any figure with 5mm ports. Cool.
