Looks neat. But shouldn't the explosion part be on the end of the blast?

I think the official blast effects for weapons fire are pretty good already...

What I'd really like to see is some better explosion/damage effects to plug on to the pegs on the bots. With one or two exceptions, using the blaster effects as damage just looks dumb.

 

I doubt it.. if there was going to be a big rush of them it would have happened months ago.. at least more announcements anyway.

Not bad. I prefer the official blast effects, but I can see how these would be very useful for certain poses. I might be interested, depending on the price.

I'm kind of surprised we haven't seen more of this sort of thing already. There are plenty of 3rd party add ons for Siege, and from what I've seen here there is definitely a demand for more battle effects. So hopefully we'll see more 3P ones.

Agreed. The Omega Supreme effects are good for explosions - I actually like them a lot better for that than I do on the end of a gun. Some of Jetfire's effects will work okay, but the only other one that kind of looks the part is Blowpipe's, and it's not too impressive when used for that purpose.

They don't look like energy beams at all to me.

 

Half way there, now just make it look like the siege effects and sell it in bulk. Only then will I buy it, 100%

 

I really wish they would. These are fun but look pretty simplistic and cartoony, even for siege.

I want something like the Siege effects for Masterpiece and 3P figures. Love the effects with MP18+, 44, and 45. Would love more. These don\'t look much like blasts however. Looks bland.  The Siege effects have paint and detail. These are like cheap lightsabers.

 

Which brings up the question on why an energy weapon would have muzzle blast?

I like the idea of these & I like the muzzle flash but the beam effect is a little off. I do like seeing more of this stuff though so I’ll definitely grab some because I want more Accessories for official toys.

 

Why don’t you have muzzle blast?

 

Very nice. Do I get just one of each for that "perfect shot" moment (if the other end can connect to smashdown's smack effect *chef kiss*) or a bunch for that nice barrage scene, thinking Shockwave in horror mode.
