now kids playing with Siege Optimus can stab themselves in the eye just as Primus intended!  

 

Maybe it's the lighting...but that red plastic doesn't look like it's a match for the rest of the figure.

 

Looks good, if not a bit late since my Siege Optimus is destined for my sales thread once Earthrise comes around.

 

That's probably the same boat for a lot of people.

Plus, it nullifies the weaponizer ports. Minor thing since it has plenty to spare, but still a compromise.

Also, I already did this to mine with a Shapeways offering. So unless this is super cheap, and the pre-colored red matches perfectly (my paint job does not ), then yeah I feel like this won't have a lot of takers.

FWIW, it really does improve the look of the figure.

 

Mine will stick around as a travel Optimus. The alt mode has really grown on me (I actually think the proportions and scale are better than Earthrise’s somewhat wonkiness)

Im keeping Siege Optimus too..hopefully they provide all the same upgrades then I\'ll bite.

 

I got excited about this initially as they look good, but then I realized the 5 mm port is gone. Not sure that’s a good trade off for me personally.

These look good, but couldn\'t you just glue a bit of straw onto the existing ones to elongate them and paint it silver?

 

Perhaps for show, but that will never hold up under any circumstances when it comes to transforming or "playing" with it.

Personally, I went with radio antennae pieces slid over the top of the existing ones; for my Studio Series that is. They can be taken on and off as needed.

I think we've just started sadly adjusting to the nub stacks we've been.. provided for the last years.. They are a little tall over the shoulder though I guess.

Meh, between Earthrise, the "cybertronian" alt, and not being especially concerned with taller stacks, I don't need these.
IF they had come earlier or with the matrix module I would've gladly given them a try.

 

Looks great.  If they make them bigger (to for the OSKO version), then I\'m interested.
