I'm torn. I love the effect it has for Rodimus, it fills in the shoulders so much better than those guns they released for the Rodimus Unicronus version of the mold. But it does make Hot Rod's upper thigh's far boxier and less visually appealing than without. I'm such a fan of this Hot Rod, despite the compromises for the evolution gimmick, and I don't want to take away from that for what I think is the lesser of the two robot modes.

I'm probably still interested, but I wouldn't mind a front-on shot without the little filler pieces attached to the thigh.

 

This has my attention, but I am now wondering how the new legs and filler pieces effect the alt-mode

 

interesting, but why didnt they do the knees in the same color as the thighs? stupid choice if you ask me

 

interesting, not sure I need them like I do the legs for Magnus.

I have to say these are making me reconsider my decision not to get POTP Rodimus. I only got the other POTP Leaders for the combined modes (not a big fan of the 'third mode = inner robot + useless bits of trailer' concept) but I didn't like the look of Rodimus's shoulders. This looks a bit better (imo).
