EMS, EMS ePacket & Speedpak are slow shitty "economy" shipping, what are the regular options? FedEx? What are you supposed to do when a seller only offers epacket or speedpak & says there are no other ways to ship? Which we all know is a load of crap.
Just be patient...all my Chinese orders have arrived in 1 1/2-3 weeks with minimal packaging damage. Good luck to you! Also all have been free shipping.
But what are the faster options? Hong Kong has e-express which only takes about a week. So China doesn't offer any other shipping methods besides EMS epacket???
They are probabaly only offering what is subsidized the most by outside postal services. It's less cost to them. Anything else is probably typical price to everybody else, but there's no cost coverage to allow them cheaper shipping. There's other options, they just don' use them.
I've ordered my KO MP Shockwave through a chinese e-packet. It took two weeks, but it was in great condition and I love the figure.
Something weird was that Amazon said the package wouldn't be delivered until late February, or early March, but it arrived much earlier (I ordered it in January). The description claim they will arrive in "7-17 days" and they won't tax the buyer. If you do plan on buying KOs, I suggest Amazon. They are all through E-packet, but they will arrive within 2 weeks. Do not buy anything prior to MP Prowl, as the molds are low quality. Especially Sideswipe.
Ask the seller about other options. I've had some on eBay offer DHL as an option and even set up new listings just for that.
This. ePacket is almost completed paid for by American taxpayers. Chinese pay about $1 for up to five pounds. Also, regular EMS is pretty fast, at least when it comes from Japan (4-6 days in my experience). Buy it from somebody in your own country instead of subsidizing an enemy?
EMS is quite good. It generally is quite reasonable, it for some reason, in my experience, it is faster across the Pacific to me, faster than FedEx. Only Amazon Japan Global, which uses DHL, is faster to me (but that's obviously not from China...).
