Shazam: Zachary Levi Already Training for DC Role

"A tweet from Eric Blackmon, a friend of Levi’s, has revealed that the actor is undergoing workouts that last up to four hours in length, to get into the idealistic physical form of Shazam!"

But as Shazam keeps his suit on, it's good.

I hope they'll keep it without putting any anime influences into it. A classic hero. Needs none of it.

No. He's just not showing up in this film. They announced last year that they were going to do two seperate films. First Shazam and then Black Adam.

I remember when I was a kid, Shazam used to come on every Saturday morning. Billy Batson and an old man would travel around the country in a RV. In the series, Capt Marvel never fought villains, only saving lives.

So Freddy and Mary so soon in the storyline? I was hoping for at least one movie for Captain Marvel alone before they start bringing in the rest of the Marvel Family.

Maybe they'll just stay Mary and Freddy and get the magic in a future film.

That's what I'm thinking. That way they don't have to introduce the characters and give them powers in the same film.

Honestly that'd be a neat way to set Shazam apart form other super hero films in general let alone DC ones so I don't see the issue with it. Besides we have manga and that can do a classic superhero story just fine with of course anime and manga influences in it so I'd be totally ok with that idea.

Honestly, that'd be a neat way to ruin the movie only to appeal to a bunch of weebs who can't get out of their comfort zone of interests because for them everything has to revolve about manga or anime.

A character that classic and with this much legacy needs a well made and proper movie adaptation first. Experiments are best left for direct-to-video movies.

I was just saying it'd be a bit interesting if there was a small bits of influence in it. Also just because someone may be into that idea does not make them a weeb. That's not what makes someone a weeb.
