Yeah, SG has really made something of not so in demand Transformers like White ML Soundwave, TCC Astrotrain or Powerlinx Demolishor lol
I made Scourge being HUNTED instead of being a HUNTER and made him noble like BW Silverbolt AND snuck in him being a failed clone attempt of Optimus Prime by Alpha Trion.
Mine was: Scourge, the leader of the mime troupe The SWEEPS, usually finds himself trapped in his mime box during battles with the Autobots. #SGWED
yeah, it really does... i'm only interested in some of the SG Autobots because I like that notion, and repurposing a few older toys with the lone SG figure i own has helped me at least make a small stable of SG Bots now... yeah, but i'm kinda unimpressed with the one they chose... Perfect opportunity to have fun and do something silly, but whatever... hopefully we see more of this later...
A little disappointing they went with such a generic profile... Scourge is such a perfect one for going goofy with. Though I guess I'm just disappointed that my recasting of the Decepticon's best flyer as Launchpad McQuack didn't make the cut.
Have to agree - they went with something pretty generic. Don't think I saw yours, but there were some good ones - heck, the Elmer Fudd one was pretty good.
Mine was "SCOURGE leads The Sweeps, the Decepticon janitors. His Detergent Ray cuts through solid grime. Worst fear is breaking a nail." I figured they would be looking for something goofy, since that's the direction they took with a lot of the SG Decepticons, but apparently not Scourge. Someone else decided to make Scourge a janitor, too, after I posted that, and theirs got retweeted...
I'm not one for sour grapes, but yeah, I was expecting the winner to be more...quirky? I mean, lots of people suggested that he was an old 'bot. Whatever, the contest was good fun. Also, I hope that if they do a long write-up they incorporate several of the tweets, since many of them are fundamentally compatible. I missed the Elmer Fudd one somehow! That is quite brilliant.

Thanks, that was mine Inspiration came from him being a "Tracker." It makes sense with what they went with since he's in Kup like colors so they made him Kup.
