Sweep and Scourge make up the last of his people. Scourge found Sweep many years after the assault of Chaar. For months he was trapped under a leaking store house of neo-energon. His warrior code in debts himself to Scourge for finding him, but due to his exposure to such concentrated energon, he can no longer use Cybetronian weapons. Never one to loose a step, he arms himself with some of the heavier weapons of his Earth finds, loaded with Magnesium rounds and a back mounted plasma burst cannon that would burn through any Bot's shiny butt. Those two beautiful machine guns are from the Halo:Reach Jorge figure. The plasma cannon from a recent GI Joe figure. So I originally painted this guy as an add-on to my Shattered Glass Scourge, but never had any time or place t take pics (moved recently, have to reset up stuff). Long story short, waited to long and could not add him to the description as a bonus item. So, I'm debating o what to do. Maybe I'll keep him...I like the guns. Or I'll see if the Scourge winner wants him. Oh well...Enjoy and thanks for looking!!!
His waist is certainly articulated, you have to rotate it for Transformation. This custom is fricking gorgeous, love the colours and the details, and those guns are just awesome. Top notch stuff .
Thanks. Im debating on starting a Facebook contest around him, ya know. If I get so and so many folks join up he gets raffled away, something like that. Let me know what y'all think.
That really looks lovely and the yellow comes off really nicely. I was concerned about using a lot of yellow on a Shattered Glass custom I was considering and now I'm feeling much more comfortable about the idea.
From Botcon Twitter feed: Apparently they took his beard as the sign of an old man... he's the Kup equivalent for the Heroic Decepticons of SG officially. Still a cool repaint. Just figured you'd be interested in seeing.
so they just repurposed the crappy '09 botcon sweeps figure for SG scourge?... LAME! the mold, color scheme, and bio show hardly any care, creativity or thought compared to these customs.
havent read any of the SG line but i love seeing customs inspired from it and this is great to look at. thanks for sharing.
