Alright y'know what yeah let's go
Hasbro's figure of Takarada Rikka looks amazing!
The fact that they tried to make the Megatron mold look like the Energon figure makes it even worse that they didn't use Kingdom Galvatron as the base. I mean, Energon Megatron is literally meant to homage G1 Galvatron. Plus, if they had remolded Galvatron for SG Megs instead, they could have gotten another use out of that tooling in the form of Energon Megatron.
Eh the original design is much much better imo. Wish they just retooled Galvatron like New Age did instead of another Siege Megatron that now needs partsforming.
I understood that reference.
Premium preorder window closed at 1 PM EST, correct?
There will probably be an upgrade kit for that. At least I hope there will.
At this point, "lazy" is just a buzzword for "I don't like it"
Weird and interesting I guess. I'm not into SG but it's cool to see Hasbro revisit the concept. I am curious as to why they chose to go through this much retooling instead of just using a mold that worked better for the character.
I initially expected just a white tank and for Hasbro's attitude to be "well he's Megatron, isn't he?", but this is much more convoluted. At this point they should have just used Galvatron or Super Megatron.
What a strange release.
It's ok if you don't like partsforming, but again, partsforming in and of itself is not a bad thing. This mold looks just fine as a alt universe good Megatron, it doesn't have to be exactly like funpub.
Doesn't matter because the damn thing will be a mess to preorder and nobody but a few will get it. Hasbro sure love fleecing people so, yeah, Im staying out of that SG collecting.
Why, why, why is this not based on Kingdom Galvatron?! What the hell are they doing at Hasbro? This doesn't even resemble SG Megs.
This mold wasn't really that great to begin with, but this is, what, the 8th time they've tried milking another release out of it?
But, of course, people will eat it up, it'll probably sell out, and they'll never learn their lesson.
Definetly looking foward to him. Probably will put the fusion cannon on the other arm to mirror the main Megatron.
I love it. I never got rid of my Siege (retail) Megatron when I got the Netflix one, so I might see about swapping cod pieces and gun barrels (that part is trivial) for a more Marvel Megatron look. Really like the additional pieces, and I might have to convince myself I don't need two.
WOWZERS! I am not an SG Fan BUT the execution is pretty audacious plus a likely bonus undocumented Triple Changer to boot?
I shall be strong though - now do me an SG Wheeljack I can badge up as Slicer, Hasbro!
Becaause they include the sword/cannon he has his tank mode making him a Triple-Changer
Their exclusives are generally up for regular pre-order at like 5est, right?
Sure it does. It resembles the IDW SG Megatron from the new comic.
Yeah, no. Two Galvatron molds they could have used, and Hasbro gives us this?
This thing looks awful. Why they didn't gave him selects head? Why did they made him tripple changer? Why they didn't retooled him at all?! They just threw three clear parts and casted him in burnent under sun white!
P.S. They literally stole Unicron9's repaint of Siege Megatron!
Separate names with a comma.
