I had an extra Bumblebee movie Shockwave so I gave him the Shattered Glass treatment. This time I went with a flat finish for him. This mold was pretty easy to work with but yellow is always a pain to use. I think it came out nicely though.

I misread your title. I kept looking at this thinking, "Why did he turn Shockwave into Bumblebee? Did Bumblebee get an upgrade?....OH! Shockwave FROM the Bumblebee movie!". :)

Looks very nice and very clean. Yup. Yellow is a pain to paint.

Thanks everyone. I use Tamiya spray paints for most of my custom work with airbrush and regular brushes for detail work.

Hahaha, SAME! Glad I wasn’t alone… took me a sec!

@Warper of Sky this is very nice! As you pointed out, yellow is definitely a task to work with, but you did a great job with it.
