Decided to give the van bros some tires on their wheels. Ironhide came out better than Ratchet since I don't have a liner marker. Need to get one. custom van bros.jpg

Be careful with sharpies, I did a G1 coloured DOTM sideswipe with them, the dye has a habbit of rubing off onto your hands or other parts of the toy.

Yeah Sharpies are never a good option; they look good at first, but tend to rub off eventually. Sooner than later usually.

I concur with these statements. I have used Sharpies in the past to add details and didn't realize the consequences of the details fading, the bleeding into the plastic, and ultimately rubbing off on other figures if I had to store them with other figures.

Same. I Sharpied a Titans Hot Rod's legs and it was still coming off several months later.
So, is there a chemical difference between Sharpie ink and Gundam Markers? I haven't used any, myself, but as they are made for plastic figures, I'd assume there's some inherent difference?

I'm pretty sure Gundam markers are paint and not ink like the Sharpies.
