*thwaps* Everyone knows Grungy's fanchara! Looks pretty neat Grunge though the dagger has a bit short/wide proportions? Looking forward to seeing it finished!
Sketchie? I think you only have to draw the face to finish the pic. Looks excellent. Just one question: bot or fembot?
Pretty good, though she seems a bit "bulked up". Also, there seem to be some major proportional issues between the right arm and left arm. Pose looks alright, can't see anything wrong with it.
I suppose I'll turn this into a how to thread since I'm at work and have a few minutes. So, as you can see, the initial step (for me at least) is to digitally sketch the bot in blue. I use the default blue on the Photoshop CS swatches pallete (not sure the exact #). I'm also using an Intuos 6x9 wacom tablet, a 300.00 value but well worth the cost. Besides, the new intuos 3's are 6x8, so this is a bit bigger and I don't want to trade. Anyways, buy one. It might be tricky at first, but you'll get the hang of it. Just put a sheet of copy paper over the tablet and it will be smooth sailing after that. Anyways, so I sketch it all in blue. I use an airbrush tip at about 4 px. I Next, I lay down the inks as seen below. This is also done at 4px (pixels for the non PS savy). This is done by creating a layer above the blue pencils layer. All my layers are transparent, except the bottom layer in white. After this is done, (which took way too long last night) I move onto the flats. As you can see this is still a WIP. More later!
Not a scan, this is 100% digital. As for the thickness, yeah, it's more than normal. I was in a fatty mood, but I love it. Kinda looks like a badazz Decepticon chick now, huh?
