Hi, I'm MyHobby. It's been a long time. A long time since I made comics. A long time since I had the opportunity to shoot pictures of my Transformers. A long time to decide upon a good story. It's been a very long time. So, let's talk about what this story is. It is a story that, like an increasing amount of Transformers stories, mostly takes place after the conclusion of the war. Only this time, it ended with a draw. The Autobots didn't win. The Decepticons sued for peace. Why? Ah, now that is quite the question. Next time on Shards of Lithone, we'll pick up in the present day, following one of our main characters: Windblade. Because of course I'd pick a main character whose toy can't even stand up. It's not like a good comic requires precise posing or anything. Excelsior!
I like it so far. Nice dialog and characters. Glad to see someone who likes the Minicons as well. Also, I recognize that Mata Bionicle lid. Sneaky.
This does look really interesting. I'll be following this one. Judging by your signature, I'm guessing you're using Nightbeat for Glitch?
Thanks. I really like combiners in general, and the minicon combiner reminds me of Armada's Street team. That's always been one of my favorite toys, so this feels like an update. Dunno what you're talking about. All I see is the most holy Well of All Sparks. You and me both! I really like this story, and it feels good to finally tell it! It's good to be back. It's been two years, man. Count 'em, two. I'm an old man now. It's going... in spaaaaace! Pull up a chair, pop some popcorn, and enjoy yourself. Thanks! I'm glad to still have a forum to return to. Intriguing! Nightbeat is starring as himself for this comic. I like the character too much to repurpose his toy. No, Glitch is gonna take a drastically different form. Thank you very kindly! What? Tarn? Who said anything about Tarn? You mean that city state out past Kaon that never had anybody important tied to it? The one that certainly wasn't used as the name of the head of a super special secret police force for the decepticons? The one that's totally forgettable and can't possibly be making an appearance?
I'm afraid I never got the chance to read your old comic, but I'm glad to see you coming out with something new. And this looks particularly interesting. It's not often that we get some insight into how sparks are born and bodies are forged. It's something that definitely needs to be explored more, so kudos to you! I look forward to reading more
Wow. Love the intro, dialogue, editing and pic quality. You got me good MyHobby. You got me good. Looking forward to the following updates!
Thanks! The old comics are unfortunately lost to the ethernet, since my old imageshack account is completely obliterated. Still, it's good to have a fresh start. The birth and creation of Transformers always gets swept under the rug. Mostly, it's just not necessary to tell the story. Even shows that try to dabble in it, like Animated, just dabble. We're dabbling a bit here, too, but maybe in a more conclusive way. On that note, I find myself really liking the IDW method for forging transformers. Thank you! Good starts are easy, though. Let's see if I can keep it up. Awesome! Thank you for the compliments. Quality is really important to me, and I'm glad to hear you've noticed it. Hold onto your butts, because the future begins now! Happy new year!
