Oh, I know what you mean. And you've done wonders with engineering this weapon. And the cost should be commensurate to what you've put into it. I bow to you.

YEEEOOWWWCHHHH!! The new price with the rocket is 103.57!!!! There's no mark-up on this model, that's shapeways actual price. As far as mark-ups, I only mark prices up one dollar on all my models (with the exception of the omega launcher).

Hi Moon, wouldn't be better if the claws are at 120° each others, instead of 90°,90° and 180°? Always with one of the 3 claw on top, to give him a more Omega's accurate look ;)

That crossed my mind, I haven't received my print but im sure there will be revisions that need to be made. I'll make the changes to the claws in one of those revisions.

B-but I think there is a custom/sctachbu ld in my future that would love to tote that bad-boy around...
Seriously, if you get it tinkered to your statisfaction. For the love of Primus, let folks order it if they
have the scratch. It is too 'F'ing sweet to let it die on the vine.

I was wondering on this too (Claws at 120°).

Still it is gorgeous, brutal but gorgeous.

Glorious convergence anyone? Lugnut might be up for it. Not exactly my typical fair, but the figure design I've been toying around with for the last week or so has been a complete bust, so I decided to do something easy to clear the flak from my head.

Its really not even that accurate to how the marker looks in Dead Space. But what ever.

The two spires just peg together, I thought about a base, but that would just drive cost up. I need to start making some more affordable items. Its rather pricy but here it is, Marker.

Nobody asked for it but here it is! A transformer sized plasma cutter! Based on the Dead Space 2 design. For use with any DX or Voyager transformer that needs to cut the arms and legs off some kind of horrible living nightmare! Features a swiveling cutter, and moving sights. Can be ordered here Plasma Cutter.

It has a 5mm peg so it will fit your DX and Voyager figures. It might have some bugs to work out, but im going to make it available. If it gets rejected shapeways will notify me, and ill fix it. Hell its actually $10.00!

    Love the plasma cutter!

Any change on some generic looking DOTM Wrecker weapons to help outfit the Wreckers and other DOTM figures for Stealthforce modes?

Schweet! But you might wanna watch out for the ball joint sizes of those front thingies. They might not come out right at that scale...

I do have concerns about that, any advice for making small ball joints?

Its not tested yet, but I'll be ordering one here shortly. I need to recover from some hefty purchases. ;-)

The smallest ball I dared to do is 2mm diameter. Any smaller and the risks of failure go up. The weak point is the stem, I would recommend something 'stubbier' and not so drawn out and thin, just so there's more material stability.

A diameter of 1.5mm for the stem is the lowest I'll go.

I must say, you are the weapons man, man.

Cool, thanks for the info. Ill redesign the sights.

Me the weapons man? Your Sentinel Prime weapon set is glorious! Also your two new movie style weapons, Feuer Frei and Scolex Spiker are absolutely beautiful.

That Plasma Cutter may be the first purchase from Shapaways that I make. It's really well done! Make the Contact Beam or the Pulse Rifle and I'll be a regular customer.

You'll have to forgive me, I just had to. But no, the marker's fine. It isn't the most accurate, but you can definitely tell at first glance what it's meant to be. Depending on what 3D software you're using, I'd suggest modeling just 2 straight tines and then twisting them around using a modifier (3DS Max).

Wonder who the Plasma Cutter should go with. Prime Ratchet? After all, he does recommend dissection on the zombie hoards.
