Shadow Spark Optimus Prime figure incredibly intricate space deco and purple eyes inspired by the movie As we now know it looks like Optimus maybe infected by something called the shadow spark as the description from the recently shown toy confirms above. Does this mean we can now count out a nemisis prime/another character turning into evil prime counter part and prime simply gets infected by this shadow stuff instead ? So what is the shadow spark? Is it a hate plague substance that makes the infected users spark turn evil/shadow ? Do the Quints/creators posses it and use it on Optimus ? Is it a liquid substance that has to be injected into the transformer ? Or is it a gas form that infects transformers upon breathing in ? Will prime just find it in space or on the plant/thing that goes near the moon in the trailer ? Is it directly related to unicron? Anybody any ideas ?
Sounds like an idea taken from the hate plague and put into the films. And interesting one at that too.
I think it's just a repaint of the AoE Prime for Hasbro to sell more toys. I don't think it's going to relevant to the film.
" incredibly intricate space deco and purple eyes inspired by the movie " Why would they put that on the box if it was just another repaint from AOE
My guess is it's a reformatting the Creators give to Optimus, similar to what Unicron does to Megatron in TFTM, enslaving him in return for a means to revive Cybertron. The reformatting is similar to Dark Energon, judging by the dark deco with purple eyes.
I kinda suspect the term "shadow spark" won't be used in the actual film. I mean, while it sounds cool as a toy name, it sounds too much like it belongs on a toy for these films to use it.
That's the keyword you underlined, inspired. That's pretty vague and does not mean it's directly tied the film. The purple eyes could be the only inspiration for the figure and it would still be true. Like I said, it's a figure that the don't have to put any extra work in to build or design other than molding it in different colors and add some extra paint to.
Wasn't there an episode of the original series where the quintessons revive Optimus and turn him bad? we pretty much know that either unicron or the quints are responsible for this. I say quintessons
I'll be surprised if they use that term in the movie. It's definitely a cooler synonym for nicknames like Edgy Optimus or Emo Optimus lol
Abit off topic but on the toy of primes hood in vehicle form he has a "model" number if u will "HFF337". That must mean something in the movie. He wouldnt just get a random ass tat like that for fun
Hmmm .... and does it have this on 'in the box' versions? As it's a very human idea....it implies one of two things only to me....either this is a human made Optimus a successor to the galvatron model that possibly gets corrupted....or it's just a catalogue number for the toy itself
