It was actually Robotoybase that had them, but not any longer. There's one on eBay from the US, but the price and shipping are extortionate.

Are the kits for Ratchet and Ironhide being reissued?

 

Welp, ended up having to pay $40 on ebay for one. Can't find a clear answer if more of these will be made or not and my Ironhide already has one, so they would just look awkward once my Ratchet arrives. Such is life lol.

 

They really should. They seem to sell out pretty quickly, and there is a market demand.

Probably something having to do with the size of the production runs and getting factory time.

 

I put in a preorder at BBTS, but I'm getting the feeling these aren't coming...

 

I would have, but you can't even do that anymore (For Ratchet you can't, for Ironhide you can). Leading me to worry that even if they re-issue I might have a hard time getting one.

 

Maybe email or call BBTS and confirm whether or not they do plan to get these.

 

It is still up there on the site so I'm just going to trust BBTS, but I think the date has been pushed back twice now. Who knows? Honestly, not a big deal either way for me, I preordered on a whim.

 

Well remember they've had preorders up for more copies of KFC Opticlones/Reflectrons (Reflector) up for over a year now. Still no release.

 

...i've had mine on preorder at BBTS for a year on thursday; i'm starting to think i should have gone with another retailer...

 

Whoever paid $40+ could've waited.

I had to cancel my order due to it never getting a tracking number.
When I pressed the seller shxfg_bo7766_0 about it he admitted that he thought he would have received his stock sooner but hasn't. I asked him for a refund which he promptly gave me. Unfortunately the Ironhide kit has sold out.

 

If I were you I'd message the seller to find out what the hold up is asap. Otherwise you might never see it.
If they come back and give you a story that the distributor or manufacturer keeps promising a new release date with no results then ask for a refund. Don't let your money be tied up for nothing. Otherwise you're being taken advantage of plain and simple.

 

I bought a set from eBay and it also has not shipped. When I asked they admitted they thought they'd have it by now. They said I can take a refund or wait as the manufacture said they were delayed.

Crap. Also bought a set from that seller since he was marked as reliable, and haven't received it or even a shipping notification.

$ 20 isn't that much money so I don't mind waiting (it's not like I'll need it asap) and I'd rather have the set.

But it does make me wonder how sure it is he's getting it. Maybe I should look at other sellers, but what guarantee do I have then?!
