There's a break, or bend, in those doors on the side. Are they making new, replacement doors?

 

Yes, they are creating their own panels with a hinge at the top.

 

Would be nice if they sold this in a discounted 2 pack for both Ironhide and Ratchet since I am definitely getting Ratchet as well.

 

As long as the paint matches this is definitely the optimal solution. I don't mind a few more panel lines in that section if it gets that kibble out of the way.

 

So does it move into that position or is it simply staying with the nose of the van through the entire transformation?
Either way I like this better than the version where the wheel are also on the sides.

Looks good, I think it'll be $$$ as with most SF kits. I think if you got this though + KO Ironhide / Ratchet it would be about the same as a TT original  

 

The only one available right now that I know of is the Nonnef kit.

 

I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

 

Nice. I really like this.

But considering I held off on Ironhide until the KO released because I have a hard time paying the full price for carbots, I doubt I'll be picking this up unless it's in the $15 or less range (which i find doubtful).

 

I'm willing to be it's $40 or more.

 

I just know the two brands worked together in the past for the titan class Devy kit, but probably are the same thing like KFC and X-Transbots
