back to the deep discount.com questions, anyone know how long they take to tell you if your special order will be fulfilled or not? could not pass on trying to get v1 mark 50 for that cheap but my order has been in limbo for a week. yes i will call them just wanted to know about others experiences
So I ordered these 2 figuarts yesterday: 1) SHF Kamen Rider Ghost 2) SHF Kamen Rider Ghost Grateful Damashii (2) I ordered 2 of the Grateful Damashii because I plan to transfer the Grateful Damashii belt (AKA Driver) over to Ghost's regular form- because here's the thing: I don't feel like the original Ghost Driver, that goofy ghostly eye-looking thing he's wearing, was ever necessary. I don't think the original Ghost Driver was ever necessary, because the Grateful Driver houses all of Ghost's forms and powers, so if he can activate them all at once with the Grateful Driver: Why not be able to activate them individually too? It would've been easier, for the show, to just give him the Grateful Driver in an empty state, and say: You have to fill this device with all the corresponding spirits or you won't be able to activate it's full potential. I would've totally accepted that VS all the stupid little "icons" he had to collect.
Surprisingly limited in range of motion, but as you say: so much character and personality. Also, in a weird way, it kind of fits that he's a bit limited compared to other DBZ figs.
Thinking about getting Kamen Rider Baron Lemon Arms and Kamen Rider Bravo. Anything I should be on the lookout for?
Their site says they don't charge until the item comes into stock and ships but that is blatantly false as I just placed an order and checked my bank details to make sure. Money was taken out, which really annoys me. Plus side is that the item I ordered has the best price available right now and was made all the more better with the current 15% off coupon. At least if anything bad happens, I have Paypal to fall back on.
Not entirely sure what you mean exactly but Bravo is very spiky and it will literally hurt to swap out the hands unless you can somehow avoid touching the spikes on the forearms. lol.
I haven't had anything break on any Gaim SHFs yet but for Bravo I think it's definitely good to be careful when trying to get his swords into the gripping hands cause the handle tapers off at the top so it's thinner than at the bottom and then there is the chance of the lockseed or knife falling off the belt so keep an eye on those so you don't lose them (but that applies to all Gaim SHFs). I don't have Lemon Baron but I do have Duke and with all the Energy riders it can be a bit scary when posing them with both sonic arrow options so be careful there too. Other than that I don't think there is anything really to worry about.
I have both. No issues with either figure, the Kamen Rider Gaim body is excellent. Holds up today against anything. Clean paint, great source material, standard excellent SHF articulation Both were TWE - heck, i think Baron Lemon was a show exclusive, so its just a matter of how much you wanna pay

I hope the figure arrives in good condition without QC issues, because I’m not too eager to deal with return/replacement policies of a website I’ve never used. You can occasionally get baron lemon on amiami for cheap used. I have and it’s great. A lot of Gaim figuarts aged great considering 2013 standards.

Agreed. With a discount like that, I don’t mind paying upfront. I love BBTS, but you can’t beat these prices
