So I know this is a little off topic but was the movie shot like an actual movie or was it more of that disjointed random footage like Batman vs Superman?

Shot like an actual movie, thankfully. An origin story, but one that flows.

I meant to quote Dr Kain. I think his head might be skinnier than the Hasbro one, but the Gundam crotch reflection is distracting me.

Is the Avatar thing reported, or wishful thinking? Figma scale would suit the brand pretty well. Stands are pretty mandatory.

Ooh, Tron Legacy Figuarts would be glossy and fun. If they got a Disney liscense how long would it take them to get to Brave Little Toaster? :lolol

If they could give her a cool soft goods cloak.

It sure is fun talking like I can afford these :dunce

Does Figuarts Vader have pectoral swivels that enable the shoulders to pivot inwards?

It's the best DCEU movie, largely in that it is shot and pieced together as a smooth well edited single coherent story. It's not the Zachary Snyder mashup we got in the others. It's not quite great, but it is very good. It feels like a single movie, from a single skilled director (who is not Zachary Snyder) instead of the standard DCEU cut n paste by committee.

I would love to have an SH Figuarts WW. Until then the Mafex isn't that bad. Their WW is at least better than their Catwoman.

So the Figure-rise Krillin went up for preorder and I noticed that both the Figure-rise and the SH Figuarts versions made Krillin's sclera white. Is there a reason why neither version gave him the proper flesh color?

Guys do you know if there's a 'bootleg' Farmboy Luke. I was told that the figure could be found for $30 in Hong Kong. Seems fishy?

Oh yeah, I actually enjoyed the movie. IMO the best DC movie to date...and I'm not a fan of WW! X)

Well, I got news for you in my country a brand new SH Figurearts Star Wars cost around $60. So anything below that is a steal!

Really? If its $20-30, i think its really a good price!

They cost more than that in the US sense Hasbro won't allow BlueFin to distribute them in the States. I can only assume he just thinks KO's shouldn't cost that much. That said, there's plenty of high quality KO's nowadays that are even better quality than the original version in terms of fixing known QC issues.

SHF KOs better than the originals? I never had any issues with my SHFs that I thought needed improvement but I'd be curious if there are just better quality figures for less money. Any examples or links showing this? Thanks!

Oh yeah, one of the KOs that have better than their originals is the Marvel Legends KO Pizza Spidey.

If I ever have the chance, I'll pick it up!

I don't think he mean SH Figuarts? But rather that some KOs these days are better than their original counterparts.

Just like the KO Pizza Spidey. Another one is the oversized 'Age of Extinction' Lockdown.

Frieza and Saiyan Saga Vegeta both were known for extremely loose joints. The Datong KO's of these fixed those issues. My Datong versions were actually tighter than my originals joint wise. Also, Datong's SS3 Goku had normal skin color and was otherwise the same quality as SHF's version. Though in the case of Saiyan Saga Vegeta and SS3 Goku SHF is giving us new molds so those KO's are kind of moot.

I've also heard good things about Datong's versions of SDCC Goku and SDCC Vegeta, but I haven't handled those myself.

You can usually find them pretty easy on eBay, but I don't know if any of them are cheap anymore since I've heard Datong stops production of one figure before they move to another.

Hadn't heard of the KO of ML pizza Spidey. What improvements did they make?

Also, agreed on the ocersized AoE Lockdown. It's an excellent figure. The same company also made oversized figures for every other AoE character and they're also very good. Recently saw an oversized Generations Arcee from them also, but my friend overseas hasn't picked it up yet so no idea on her quality.

Thanks! I assumed we were talking about SHF because of the thread. I haven't dipped into DB SHFs yet besides just ordering Shenron. I mostly just get SW stuff and those are all good afaik and only about $45 shipped when preordered or less during later sales.

Tbh I don't know the specifics because its not fave Spidey buck. From what I gather the articulation and joints were improved.

However I'm not sure if they improved the hip joints that Raft Spidey had.

Other improvements include better paint applications.

I agree with Laser Optimus...basically don't ever touch those DBZ KOs.
