Damn. It'd be awesome if we could get some Final Fantasy or Disney licenses to go with him. A King Mickey, Riku and Cloud would be bad ass.
So, so many possibilities. I hope it goes forward and stays strong. Only thing is it's unlikely we'll get Heartless or Nobodies in it. Which I would say actually places Diamond Select's new line in a good position if they hadn't made the really weird decision to release everything in 3 packs...
Releases in July actually. I thought Sora was a surprise - and really it is, still excited over it - but this one and releasing so soon is a big one in its own way too.
What surprised me was that SquareEnix had announced that they were starting their own 6" line with KH3 Sora. So you'd think they'd be the only ones making figures of their own property. I hope SHF isn't just limited to KH2 Sora.... or maybe its a Disney deal since there'll be a Jack Sparrow figure and we already have Star Wars and MCU figures.
Got Suicide Squad Deadshot yesterday. Need to crack both him and Harley open (usually not a Will Smith fan but he and Margot Robbie were arguably the highlights of that movie). I didn't care for Jared Leto's Joker so I'm passing on him. Don't care that it's not screen accurate but I plan to display them next to The Dark Knight Heath Ledger Joker and Christian Bale Batman instead. Also put in my preorder for SHF Iron Man Mark V at Bandai's site. Hope the rest of the Marks are released too. Mark 2 looks pretty good, but wondering if Marks 1, 4, and 7 will get preorders. I know that they remade Mark 6 (great figure) but hope they do the same for Mark 7. Reissuing War Machine Mark 1 and Iron Patriot couldn't hurt either. Neat! Wonder if Barbossa (either human or zombie versions) and Davy Jones are in the works too? I'd rather they didn't bother with Will or Elizabeth, personally.
Nice, but I'm betting these aren't gonna happen either since the Takeshi Hongo figure is nowhere to be seen and that was teased like over a year ago.
They were revealed last October and it's the third time they show them. Not only that but Dan's preorder is already open and Retsu has a release date.
I'm working on the assumption that they are going to at least do 1-7. I mean, without a recent movie they up and decided to create the hall of armor pieces and have released/teased 2, 3, 5, and 6. 1, 4, and 7 have to be coming I'd think. No interest in homemade Spidey. BTW, I just realized something, is it just me, or does Figuarts Spidey not have the webwings? Dan Moroboshi has already been solicited for a Sept release. He's going to be $60. Dada will definitely happen since all of the other Ultraman Figuarts shown have happened. Not sure about Gavan though.
I wasn't terribly clear. I have negligible interest at the moment, but the portrayal of that suit in the movie could sway me. I am a but disappointed by the lack of web-wing figures though. The ML one doesn't look good to me and neither SHF not Mafex seems to have included them. Maybe a deluxe or variant release is coming?
