Welp, ordered Black Panther right away after seeing those pics. Didn't even realize that there's a lack of accessories. I've already made up my mind to collect all the figures to build a Team Cap and Team Iron Man for the shelf. Anymore exclusives and I'll have to start selling body parts to fund this hobby.

Where is it up for pre-order? Or are you talking about the ML version?

Edit: Nevermind, I see it now at AE...

SHF Body Kun Deluxe Set Grey review
    ?????? ???? S.H.Figuarts ????? DX SET ?Gray Color Ver.?

This does look interesting and a worthy addition if you want a generic to use for modeling. But if I remember correctly it was pricey thanks to the accessories, right? The look okay, but I don't they are worth the price they're asking, especially one that doesn't have any paint or high detailed sculpt.

    Figuarts Pikachu is ok,

I think hes too big to be in scale with the other pokemon

and his articulation is very weird

he cant do an all 4s poke since his head wont look up

but he fits the Smash Bros in 6 in scale

oh yes.. without a doubt he'll be better than the marvel legends figure. it's crazy how much better figuarts feel in hand compared to legends. if i exclusively collected 1/12 figures, i would without a doubt buy the figuarts versions over the legends.

as for the lack of accessories.. yeah, that's a bummer. i wonder what he'll look like and what accessories will be included for his next figure..

Oh there is no doubt the Figuarts are better figures, but they will never cover the variety of characters Legends has.

Well, yeah. That kind of goes without saying considering that Bandai doesn't have the license to do comic versions. Anybody in the films is apparently free game though and, in that sense, I can see them getting to all the major players same as Hasbro has finally done.

Black Panther doesn't need accessories, he's just a badass. I guess some claws would have been nice and maybe a dagger if you really need something.

The clawed hands definitely should have been a thing. I know in the comics and cartoons he uses vibranium daggers, but I haven't seen him use them yet in the trailers so the MCU version might not use those to begin with.

Vibranium daggers would be pretty awesome, but who knows if he'll even be using such weapons in the Civil War film.
The Black Panther in the Earth's Mightiest Heroes TV series was insanely awesome with his daggers.

The figures for the next Tamashii drop are now listed; drop possibly this week (not sure)?

A bunch of stuff is getting re-released for September too: Piccolo yet again, Chalice (oddly), and Iron Man Mk.42 (but no sofa this time).

Oh, great, reissuing the Sailor Moon wand that nobody has even looked at in two years. In all seriousness, is nobody shopping on eBay and Amazon anymore? Certainly nothing anime-related is moving at the shows I've been to. That whole Sailor Moon anniversary came and went with two whole panels and a stack of DVDs at an unmanned booth at Otakon.

Nice, they're reissuing the Trident display stand. Been meaning to pick up more of those.

Pre-orders should be any day now. Last business day of the month would be Friday.

Still the only one I'm going to go for is Jango. Well, and a suite of web exclusives as soon as I get paid again... But for this next round, just that one. Quick check on Amazon has Chalice at pretty much MSRP, so maybe him as well for the heck of it since the re-release is cheaper...

Don't get why the Mark 42 is getting reissued. At all. Well, I do... to compete with Figma making one (for some reason) most likely. But I'd of course rather be seeing new Marvel characters.

    Trident stage is cool though.

That or they're mistaking a vocal minority for broad based demand again. I honestly don't know how any of the bigger online shops can keep offering pay-later preorders with so many flakes out there.

My "Our War Game" Omnimon came in and he is sharp. In fact, he's so sharp he made me bleed. He's also really thin and ball joints keep popping off. I do like metallic paint on toys but the solid colours look great. The cape isn't a solid shade of white on one side but a solid shade of red with white tint on one side. It's a pain to get on so it sits without any inward folds on the ends but it looks great.

Anyone own Pikachu yet? I held off due to the convention next month. How is he?
