Agreed. Aside from Figma Kusanagi (both SAC and Arise), there is Medicom's take on the SAC version (tactical suit) of the Major and Takara's Cy Girl verison (both are in the larger 1/6 scale though, I believe; the Cy Girl figure features fabric hair but neither it nor the head/face sculpt are very well done IMHO and seems to be a strange blend of the manga, the animated movie, and Cy Girls aesthetic). I'm only aware of McFarlane/Spawn Toys PVC statue of movie Mokoto (which I owned and still have stored away at my folks' house) way back in the day when the film first came out but that hardly fills a slot for an articulated, film-accurate Major. And even then, there are several outfits she could go with if ever given the Figma or SHF treatment (yellow jacket "civvies" clothes, full tactical gear, or her more revealing/skintight optic camouflage getup). I'm thinking that the reason why that there hasn't been such a figure yet is because the original film is so old (thus little to no demand these days by younger anime fans who view the movie as an old school relic/throwback) and her character design in that movie has had been criticized as being too "man-ish/masculine" looking and deviated too much from her manga aesthetic, if I recall correctly. A Figma or SHF Kaneda and his bike would be awesome. I still have the McFarlane/Spawn Toys version (sitting on my book shelf next to Figma Motoko Kusanagi) and it's serviceable. It won't win any articulation contests, though, but does a bang up job just sitting on the shelf looking good. There is also the alternate McF/Spawn version of Kaneda and his bike where he's in a standing pose with the laser rifle he uses against Tetsuo (Kaneda can't be made to sit in the bike for this version, though). I wonder if the demand is there to warrant Figma/SHF taking a crack at it. As nice as some of Hot Toys and Slideshow stuff is, money and display space are what keeping me from going in on those figures and 1/6 scale stuff in general.
Bought a second Bruce Lee to give him his Enter The Dragon scars. Also since I have the clean one I can interchange their torso parts to mimic this scene. And... now that I have another Lee figure, that means I can give him two nunchakus! Not even the Juggernaut can stand Bruce Lee with two nunchakus!
^^^It would be cool to get some of the vehicles from those. As for figures, another I would really like to see is the Kerberos Panzer Cops from Jin Roh.
Figuarts Jango Fett, September 2016, not a Web exclusive: S.H.Figuarts ????????????? ????????????????????????
Gotta admit that Pikachu is pretty tempting. If someone in this thread gets a hold of it, please do feel free to share some pictures.
I'd say Cody at least has a shot given that he did appear in Episode III. Pretty sure it was stated somewhere though that they (Bandai) only secured the movie license so no way we get any Clone Wars/Rebels/Books/Comics only characters or designs. I'll unfortunately have to rely on Hasbro for those, but trying to get Ahsoka and Kanan is trying my patience.
I'm REALLY tempted to pick him up, but than I'd be tempted to go back and get Mew-Two and Charizard... And unfortunately they look crazy expensive on the aftermarket.
