Yes you can. I just did this. And it also includes anything in stock that you order within the same month to clarify.
Well, my Mark 45 Iron Man finally arrived from Japan today (I HATE SAL SHIPPING!) and it's pretty freakin' awesome. I enjoy the heft of the figure as I wasn't expecting the diecast in the feet. Very nice. My only complaint is that he's a little light on accessories. Shame there's no unmasked head... even if it were just a flipped up visor.
Yep, I've been doing this every month with them for a couple of years now. When grouping by month, you don't pay until everything is in stock too, which comes in handy when I see something they have pre-owned that I like or a previously closed preorder randomly reopens for a bit.
I know how the monthly order works. I'm more specifically referring to being able to hold items longer than that and keep adding items to it in the following months until you ship it out as one large package and saving on shipping.
Yes, but still, it isn't worth it to order something on its own that Bluefin is going to release. The only reason I preordered Agito at AmiAmi is because I was preordering Luke at the same time. HOWEVER, there is also the convenience piece as far as returns go. If I get an item and it breaks, Bluefin will replace it if the store I bought it from can't as long as it was a Bluefin distributed product. If I get something from AmiAmi and it is broken, there are no refunds, no exchanges, nothing. I am screwed.
That's about the only thing I don't like about AmiAmi. I buy from them often and have only had one issue, but for me it was a big deal and has had me buying from them less. Basically my Figma Snake came missing a couple of his hands. Probably someone just didn't put them on the plastic piece that holds them while they were being packaged. However, AmiAmi basically refused to do anything about it when I contacted them except invite me to order a second one to replace my missing parts (yes this is exactly what I was told by their customer service). Sucked. In contrast I'll flat out say that if I had bought him through BBTS I would not have had any problem getting either a) my figure replaced or b) the parts shipped to me as I've had them do both before for me. So, you pick and choose. Higher prices with excellent customer service and an almost 100% guarantee that I'll get major issues taken care of. OR... the cheaper option where I know that they'll basically do nothing for me on the off chance there's something wrong with the figure.
If you have a problem with a figma, contact GSC directly. They have the best customer service of any japanese toy company.
That's cool of them. I wish Bandai actually cared about their US customers who import their products. The worst is getting a defective web exclusive.
Are you ready? To PO iiiiiiiiiiit!!! ......... S.H. Figuarts - Captain Phasma "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" S.H. Figuarts - Kamen Rider Decade "Kamen Rider Decade" S.H. Figuarts - Kinnikuman (Ouisoudatsu Hen Ver.) "Kinnikuman" S.H. Figuarts - Kinnikuman Soldier "Kinnikuman" S.H. Figuarts - Luke Skywalker (Episode VI) "Star Wars"
That's good to know. I wasn't aware that GSC would deal directly with US based customers. I know Bandai of Japan doesn't so I never really thought about contacting GSC.
I've never tried preordering a Star War figuart before. That was insane. I swear Phasma was only on Amiami for 30 seconds before it went out of stock. I wasn't able to get one.
Thought I missed both Phasma and Decade as the page was taking so long and for a little bit both order pages said orders were closed after about a minute. But it went through and they came back to open status during that. *shrug* On the flip side, Amazon cancelled ANOTHER pre-order. :'( Mario Play Set D... Fortunately that was still available on BBTS, so I just grabbed that, Minato, and Omegamon (Our War Game) there. Fuck you Amazon. And Bluefin for clearly lying about working on the issue and things getting better.
