I just got my Cap yesterday & while his left knee isn't loose, the two halves of that joint do tend to pry apart just a bit to where I can see that cylinder, which I haven't seen on a Figuarts joint until now.

As for the knee & elbow caps, they do come off fairly easily, but then so did those parts on the Mark VI & War Machine figures. I glued those in place, and I'll do the same with Cap. Too much risk of losing those pieces.

I prefer Amazon because of Prime, as well. I've never had quality issues on any of my figures and preordering was never an issue until now.

I don't believe so. It says "altogether" which should mean that what it's listing is all that's included. I dunno if I want the figure now, considering that it appears the rerelease is missing a ton of items that the original had.

Can anyone confirm if Vegeta's rerelease is missing parts?

Interesting that this Trunks appears to be missing his non Super Saiyan faces outside of the main one. He still has all of his SS stuff though I believe so I'll just be using this one in my display as his SS form considering I've got an original release. Wonder why the cutbacks though? I figured changing the colors would be good enough for a 'new edition'.

yeah I don't get the cutbacks. Everything's individually priced, if costs have gone up just raise the price of the figure. Kinda bums me out. I think Vegeta is missing the smirking face which is a huge bummer too.

The cutbacks are to probably help the original retain its value.

You know, the value would be helped even more if they just didn't do a reissue at all. Maybe Bandai should just stop making anything, kneel down, and pray in the direction of our old toys all day. Hell, they can even bring Brian Savage on as a consultant to guide them along the One True Path of Collector Value.

if these were universally exclusive, maybe. but they were regular release here as far as I know. It's just bandai being frustratingly bandai.

Or we could just admit that there's facets of the toy industry we as consumers just don't understand or even know about and judge things rationally. :I

I don't thing musing about the potential reasons because we understand that we don't and won't know them is being irrational. No ones raging in here or anything.

I was specifically replying to RKillian, you just happened to post exactly as I did. I didn't quote him because I didn't expect anyone to reply just as I did. :lol

And I mean... his post was kinda....

yeah, kinda... haha. nevermind! I did enjoy the cheap shot at the club though.

As far as preserving exclusivity, web exclusives do get reissued, its just far less common. I know gundam kits have at least. They went out of their way to do "special color" so I don't see the need for the lost accessories.

But its also hard to gauge how the Japanese market feels about exclusivity and value and such as they are still the primary market during development.

Was it here where we talked about how Tamashii Web Exclusives are in Japan? Because if we didn't, we know at least that those are not nearly as hard to get in Japan as they are outside. Not as exclusive as it is for us.

    Luke and Agito came today.

They are both pretty awesome. I love how Luke's faces and hair are interchangeable DBZ style and the joints are nice and tight on him. Maybe a little too tight in the left shoulder. The only issue I have with him is that his right Lightsaber gripping hand comes out of the joint way too easily, making it frustrating to put him into dynamic poses while holding the saber.

Agito has some loose joints and his arms look a tad thinner than they should be. That aside, he is awesome, but I think I like Kuuga better between the two, which is a shame since I prefer the show more than Kuuga.

    Anyway:

Yes, blame mysterious reasons and a lack of understanding. That's always a far more interesting discussion. The dial goes straight from milquetoast to psychosis :p

I thought Vegeta was missing a face because I checked BBTS' listing but the Tamashii Web one shows pictures of him with all 3 faces.

It's more interesting discussion than "they must be doing it because they're malicious" and hyperbolic statements like "they should just stop making anything." :I

Pretty sure Vegeta has all of his faces, even if BBTS doesn't list them. I swear I've seen the repaint with the smirk face. He does have an extra pair of hands though, his Galick Gun/Artificial Moon hands from the Saiyan Arc figure are now included as Final Flash hands.
