OMG that's really awesome for me. Been waiting for this news for like 3 years haha. Hope we can see Hashirama soon in the future as the first run has many iconic characters already. On the another note, I do believe this is one of the best face sculpt that Figuarts have done. Don't know why their face-sculpting game has been so off lately.
Not sure if I want that Vegeta or hold out for a Namek Saga version. Either way I'm putting my SGSS one up for sale soon.
Yes it is. The first tease earlier this year they made a little bit of a deal out of how Piccolo is finally manga color accurate.. but I vastly prefer the pink anyway so I'm good there lol. Will want to see the movie before considering the Gammas...
wow, incredible timing. Watched a couple eps in middle school and now already halfway through Shippuden. I had been tempted by the currently released figuarts but the sculpts were lacking and the prices were ridiculous. Hopefully this leads to a better Sasuke figure and many more characters
what an odd decision because aren't the Super movies considered cannon? How will something like this be acknowledged or are they just gonna play it off as 'nah shut up you don't know what you're talking about.'? or actually, which is probably the answer that makes the most sense, will they not bother to acknowledge it at all since who cares?
That's odd... the first Piccolo was done in manga colors. Why would they hype the upcoming one in such a way...?
Lol! I know what I'm about to say here means absolutely nothing but if likes on those posts meant genuine interest in a product, tech on Avengers is way ahead of Macross. Lol!
I guess you could say that, but tell me this: what’s more likely to sell out first at any retailer; SHF Tech-On Avengers Spider-Man or DX Chogokin YF-19 Full Set Pack?
hard to say though. I'm thinking Bandai would increase production numbers for Macross for international release and then we still have people wanting to buy from Japan instead of locally. So units may linger unsold. I'm assuming the Marvel fandom is so much larger than Macross unless the series past SDFM picks up steam with new fans.
Marvel fans do outnumber Macross fans but you forget one important thing: NORTH AMERICAN MARVEL FANS ARE CHEAP AS HELL (Take it from me, a cheap North American consumer.)They’re completely content with Marvel Legends or Marvel Select (I forget the name?) Why spend 94.99 for one toy they may or may not be familiar with when you can add roughly an extra 40 onto the 94.99 for a whole 5-6+ figures of fairly good quality? Right now Macross fans want the best of the best of the best and are willing to pay above MSRP for it but will do whatever it takes to avoid doing so while the Marvel fans probably don’t have that type of mindset at the moment. Also let’s be honest it’s China that’s going to be importing these from America I bet you that’s what happened with the Justice Gundam on BBTS
We have waited this long and after 4-5 Narutos they really should have started the line back up with a Sakura. It almost feel like trolling at this point
I get why you say that, but realistically they would always drop the lead/signature character first. For example, if they relaunched One Piece their debut figure would always be Luffy rather than Nami.
Eh we at least got Nami the first time around. So I'd say Zoro instead. But yeah definitely makes sense. And while I maintain that the final Sage Mode (and subsequently the Best Selection release as that's just a bare bones version of it) is still a perfectly good figure, they've still made even more advancements since then to make a new Naruto worth it. Just look at the improved range of the ab alone! He'll be able to do a lot more now.
Not a bad idea. I missed the sage release and didn't want to settle for the stripped down version but the price for that may drop even more. Hopefully this new release will have as much or more accessories.
