I'm probably speculating but I think we'll get some info on new shf dragon ball characters, mainly kid Goku and Videl in next week's event.

This is literally just a pilot swap of Goku with a serious face! God damn you corporate commander!!!! Videl we pretty much already knew about since their SDCC stream But GT Goku? Interesting, if he does actually get announced. Though it makes sense considering they also mentioned that SSJ4 Goku is in the works. Ayy nice. Just got my order in. Odd though that they didn't put this up at, say, Premium Bandai instead. By the way in case anyone else is wondering, they're not charging until a couple days before arrival. "Please note that you have not been charged for your pre-order yet. You will be notified by email before we debit your account, which will occur a few days before your product is shipped." And you can only get one, unfortunately. Was really hoping I could have two to flank #21, haha. Maybe BBTS will have them up soon?

Yeah I saw that and thought that but then I was like, ‘wait another kid goku figure? A repaint or will it have GT kid goku proportions and in turn possibly be followed up by the reveal of SSJ4 Goku later down the line?’ In any case, I’m over here still waiting for a chubby kid goku more in-line to his first appearance
From my limited observations, it's the Kamen rider stuff and their derivatives that seemed to not really sell. I look at Mandarake and majority of the figuarts that get listed daily and still available are from that line. Popularity or what sells out there are a follows: various canceled anime line > dragon ball, sailor moon > sentai/power ranger stuff > kamen rider/ space sheriff stuff
Yeah, if it's not entirely it's own thing, then yeah, I expect it to be a Kid Goku redeco & retool except for the faces, which would be all brand new. Though I expect at least the torso piece to be retooled, if I can be nitpicky for a sec, haha. Mainly cause of GT Goku's at least slightly more defined muscles under the top of his gi.
I see, still did we really need another Goku?! Unless it’s SSJ3 or SSJ4 I could really care less! Not to mention that there are other characters that desperately need either a release or a redo just in Dragon Ball alone.{Cough}93 Broly{Cough} so to see yet another Goku or Vegeta even though there are loads of other characters and loads of other franchises that could use their attention is extremely frustrating. And no Bardock doesn’t count because he looks like Goku with a scar!
