And he's here! The eyes on the neutral heads are a little off to me, and I really need to figure out what to do about the pink mouths, but it's still great to finally get an upgraded version of my favorite character!

 

He's secretly been getting it with Chichi. XD Would a black line be better or just have it plain green?

 

I think I'm gonna go for plain green, as that looks pretty decent on the packaging shots (guess the pink was a last-minute decision...) as well as on the original Piccolo.

 

A little bit of Tamiya flat blue mixed with a little bit of Tamiya flat yellow makes a world of difference!



And a shot of the other head. The mix ended up a bit darker than Piccolo's skin tone, but I honestly think that works out for the best.

 

Definitely looks a lot better. Personally I’m just gonna keep my 1.0 Piccolo in the turban then have the 2.0 posed doing a Special Beam Cannon so I can use the shouty face

 

I picked up Kaio-Ken Goku at Target today.

I'm...I'm not even sure why, I've never had an interest in it before. I think it was a knee-jerk reaction to the low price (after spending the last couple weeks scrolling through sky-high aftermarket prices for other DBZ stuff) combined with just the novelty of seeing a Figuarts at a Target.

 

ha! yeah i've stopped myself from buying ASROE Goku at target a few times, i already have two from when he first released. i don't need any more. but seeing him on the shelf almost makes me buy another.

There is a more normal colored Super Saiyan Goku (Full Power Son Goku) coming out soon for the same price, if you don't like the Kaio Ken effect.

 

That was only available in Japan from what I could tell. I've seen it on Anime Export once in a while I think.

 

I bought one at Target a week or two ago. I know jack and shit about Dragonball...but I figured it had to be a decent figure. He’s fun as hell to fiddle with. I passed them by for weeks and weeks...numbers dwindling each time...until there was one left. He’s now holding a skateboard next to my computer.

 

I have always been hoping Target would clearance these along with the “raised on earth” base form, but looks like it’s not going to happen. Would be nice to have a cheaper price(than $35)Figuarts Goku body for fodder/head swaps. With full power coming out though, this is where I’ll double dip.

 

Well, after watching the first two episodes of Back Arrow... I just put in a preorder for Arrow and Elsha. Wonder if they'll give us Atlee too?

 

I swear to God, I think I've sold more Premium Color SSJ Vegetas in the last three weeks than the last three years. Every other day, often in the middle of the night, another sells. I don't know if this is eBay trying to trick me into Mangled Payments (it won't work you clowns) or people not touching anything unless they think they're basically stealing it.

Got Dasin Model Ichigo expecting something of a figuarts scale and this is not that. This figure is around 7" tall which is way off from the 1/12 scale I had read it was supposed to be. im kind of underwhelmed with it TBH. The hollow mask doesnt attach to its head, two of the faces barely have any differences to them.

 

Surprised Bandai never did a Bleach line tbh. I’d definitely buy a Kenpachi.
