what i hate about the shf's is that they did the females dirty. They tried there best to be as close to the model with all the guys, espcially the last 3 releases, but they went full anime for the ladies, more specificaly with Chun-Li. When you compare her to the SC it's night and day
IMO the SC females haven't been great. Disproportionate or even outright deformed. The designers at SC have gone on record as saying the female form isn't their thing. Maybe the SHF females don't look exactly like the video game, but they present better overall than the SCs.
I'll be honest the only female of the line I like is Cammy in her 'Battle Costume', it's not perfect but it's the nicer of the 2 female fighters that are out now and i wouldnt have bought it if it werent for the face sculpt. Sometimes a face sculpt can just make or break it and ultimately, in my eyes, the SHF couldnt do what the SC could.
Hey, the only one who has to like your collection is you. If you're happy with you're shelf/display then you're doing it right. Cheers.
I agree with you. One of the main issues I have with this line is the scale...its not consistent. Its the main reason I gave up on their Star Wars line.
Noticed a lack of Shin Ultraman tease. Could be too early to reveal with the film being set for early Summer 2021.
I mean... how big are the gonna be? Ginyu is a a good size figure, and Burter and Recomme are bigger than him, even when positioned behind him. Neither is as big as Full Power Broly, so I think they're fairly accurate for a series that's very inaccurate/inconsistent with scale anyway. As for scale as a line, the only figures badly out of scale are Piccolo v1 (the first figure in the line) , Great Ape Vegeta (understandably)and Perfect Cell. Now a line they did terrible on the scale is Street fighter. Sagat, Bison and Vega's terrible scale made me quit the line and focus on the Storm figures.
For anyone looking for a fighter to put against your future SHF Hit... Courtesy of, you guessed it, Demoniacal Fit... IT'S HAPPENING.
Looks great, been hoping for something like this for a while. Tenacious Martialist was pretty great so have high hopes for this
Well, my two cents on Burter and Recoome from the images I'm seeing is that Recoome should be at least a head taller than Ginyu and Burter should be a head taller than Recoome. So... the problem for me anyway comparing the toy shots with Toriyama's artwork where they're all lined up in ascending height order really is more with Burter. Recoome could stand to be a half a head taller and Burter should be a whole head and a half taller based on Toriyama's artwork.
I wish Demoniacal Fit or Kong studios would knock off other shf lines like super sentai, pr and sf. At least finish the dairanger team for those who have kibaranger and ryuranger.
Looks pretty good even if it's the wrong Kaioken Blue to go up against Hit. Actually, now that I think about it I'm a little surprised that Tamashii never repainted the Resurrection 'F' Blue Goku in Kaioken Blue colors as an event exclusive or something.
Surprised nobody mentioned the Jujutsu Kaisen Figuarts up for preorder at bbts (either that, or I missed the comments / they were further back)
Or simply because nobody cares because we were looking forward to already-established lines to see what's new instead of a very recent anime we don't have an attachment to it yet? For that matter, how come this anime gets figures announced this quickly while other older franchises takes years to get something?
Their names are not either Burter or Guldo, pass. They look fine for what they are. Seems like par for the course for Bandai.
