Slightly off topic but would anyone know if it's possible to cut a pin? My original whisper has the misfortune of having his legs on backwards and haven't been able to figure out a way to fix it (even tried the heat+magnet thing and that didn't work). Would love to have my old Whisper be functional by the time I get the new one in hand.
100% agree on jolt. I feel like with Whisper they COULD fit both though either by swapping the hole and peg (which would match the original peg anyway) or, the less likely option, adding one part to the count and making the peg able to rotate forward (which would make the space behind it more practical for a port hole.)
I have to agree to be honest; the Hasbro one just looks better in my eyes as the blue clashes a bit and the yellow is also applied over a nice space. That said I think I'd lean for cartoon accuracy here just because I loved the show flaws and all. Thankfully 3rd party stickers'll probs have people covered either way though.
Yeah replacement wings for Starscream are a nobrainer (even to make them longer and better proportioned not to mention having the sword) especially since they're easy to swap. Proper Wheelswipe legs are a lot less likely. But who knows; stranger things have been made.

If they\'d remoulded this a bit more they could have done so based on Gigawatt and kept the gullwing doors the original had.

Was gonna wait it out for the inevitable Armada Wheeljack redeco, but went ahead and preordered this the other night after giving it some thought. Trying to avoid SG so I don't collect a whole other line, but the colors are quite nice, and there's enough new bits to justify jumping on the Lambo mold for the Xth time.

fairly sad that 20 years later, they can’t engineer a better looking jet mode then the original (the lack of actual wings on the minicon kind of kills me). Reinforces my increasingly strong suspicion that the alt modes just aren’t a priority for the current team.

I didn’t notice this at first. I’m a bit disappointed and kinda surprised.

Ah but they managed to fully articulate it. It was never going to be realistic, so this a great balance. Also your comparing a figure made at the height of transformers plastic budget. Never a fair comparison.

Oooooh… I forgot about him. Yeah, that mold is begging to be Blurr (spelling that name with two R’s feels so weird).

Man, I'm so glad that he actually has a fully molded scratched-out insignia and they didn't just opt for a tampo or something. Can't wait to get Wheeljack eventually.

I think we'll get the blue as that's what he actually looked like in the show. Hasbro has been erring on the side of being as toon accurate as possible in recent years. Heck, Hasbro originally was going to do a running change on the original Armada release that unfortunately never materialized since. I remember Archer commenting that the blue being added to the toy and used on the show was a last minute decision made by Takara hence the original Hasbro figure being inaccurate to the show model. So, yeah, blue most likely and I'm good with that as I think it makes the design pop more and you still get some yellow accents that look good too.

He actually didn't have the blue alot of the time in the show, so if they decide to go the show accurate route there's always a chance they go the more minimalistic deco. Though it's still more likely to be the takara deco, rather than the hasbro or show one imo

I considered buying this because I have seen WJ so long ago I assumed this guy had the same color scheme. Took me a while to recall WJ did not have green and had more yellow. So will wait for the hopefully mainline release of Armada Universe Wheeljack.

Why is he holding a hand vacuum? Was he a clean freak in the anime? :p

The writing is on the wall about Armada Blurr from Legacy Pointblank already.

They're already making Armada Wheeljack from Siege Sideswipe. What is obvious, is obvious.
