WJ was by no means one of my favorite characters, but for some reason this rankles me more than the way some other G1 names have been reused.

It amazes me you can show TF fans the world, and they'll find one insignificant thing to bitch and moan about. Its cool that the Einstien bot is the Benz, I look forward to seeing the whole bot.

As for Jolt, its possible he dies before the end of the movie, if he's in it.

 

I guess I should reserve final judgement until I see that head actually in motion, but that's absolutely awful- as bad, or worse than the twins.

I really hope that's NOT Wheeljack (although it would be a very logical choice). Not only does he deserve much, much better- but his original head would be a perfect match for the aesthetic in the Bayverse (or at least what it originally was, it seems to get weirder and uglier with each movie).

So What? Jetfire doesn't look like a young form like the G1 version, he looks like an old geezer. So if it's possible they will do it again no matter what character it is they are not going to change all that. So just be thankful if that robot is Wheeljack or not!

I don't believe it, Einstein bots head/helmet was silver, the Merc saloon was blue. Now every single robot from these movies has one design element in common, namely that their heads are the same colour as their vehicle mode's.

Not saying he's lying but he is going off memory and we know there's two Mercedes involved, one of which happens to be silver.

 

You REALLY want for his first appearance for Wheeljack to have "Einstien hair"?

I want Wheeljack too...but I'm not that desperate to have him show up looking stupid
