Depends on how much of Family Guy he owns outright, it's changed networks before. I'm more concerned about the Orville.

I believe McFarlane owns a large percentage or all of Family Guy and possibly the Orville as well.

Does this mean Family Guy will finally be cancelled? i like the first 5 seasons then it went downhill after that as it should had ended in 2008. I mean some shows like My Little Pony FIM, Regular Show, Bojack Horseman, Futurama, King of the Hill etc. ended beautifully on good notes when they needed to at the right time, The Simpsons and Spongebob and Family Guy are zombies that need to be shot in the head so they won't shuffle around anymore searching for new life.

I mean i like American Dad better and more.

Actually Family guy was cancelled after the first season, but reruns on other networks and DVD sales brought it back due to popularity

Looks like he still will do the fox shows as well so he is not leaving family guy for anyone who still cares about that show.

But do you agree that show should had died in 2008 just like Simpsons should had ended 20 years ago with the last great episode being Behind the Laughter and Spongebob with the movie in 2004? the other shows i mentioned ended well and didn't become zombiefied husks like Simpsons, Family Guy and Spongebob,

It already was... like three times... It keeps coming back though.

Fox has actually cancelled the show trying to replace it in the past but their new show usually end up tanking and allowing Family Guy to come back. And Family Guy has even joked about how Fox keeps canceling them and bringing them back.

Anyway... I think this would actually mean that Family Guy and all his other shows are moving to a different network because Seth does act in all his shows as well, it would be pretty much impossible for him to move to another Network without bringing those shows with him... or starting up a new series...
