I'm assuming that you'll all kick my ass if the words "ruined forever" pass my lips, so I'll just say that it's not automatically Takara's fault if Hasbro didn't produce those toys. Not to mention that Hasbro and Takara don't owe the fan base anything.

Also, this pen is made by Sentinel, not Takara. Technically, this would be third party.

What's all this Rung stuff? Who the heck is Rung? Does he transform into an actual rung of a ladder, or something?

Ah ok thanks. So, er, does he actually transform into a rung? And is that why so many people think this thick, arguably rung-shaped pen would make a great Rung? :)

He transforms into 'something', sort of rung shaped I guess. Although it looks more like a sonic screwdriver from Doctor Who, or the lever that transforms Metroplex in an older comic.

I'm fully expecting it to be ¥8000. +$100 by the time it gets imported by stores like bbts.

Well I'm just over estimating, so who knows, it could still be cheaper. But seriously, look how fantastic that robot mode is, I don't think anyone really expected the toy to be cheap. Also, if this has diecast then for sure the price will be high.

At a wild guess, I'd say about 143 mm in alt mode.

Even their giant electronics-filled iDroid isn't $100. It's gonna be expensive but i think $50 is probably a more accurate estimate.

The exact size is 144mm. So about 5.67 inches.
