Per the Sentinel Japan Twitter, their stock of the Ryuumaru metal jacket armor and Ryuumaru itself ship the 27th and 28th respectively. Hoping that the mass overseas retail and global direct orders ship within a similar timeframe.
I only request that when you review the add on set that you make it seem indispensable to justify the goofy price that we all paid for it. The review is great btw, very informative and nice to look at. Good work man!
What'd you end up paying for them? Also, the look really seems to complete this version of Getter 1 even more so than Shin who's wings I honestly keep down since they aren't that appealing to me. I don't even have a connection to the manga but the winged and tail look really just fits and completes this design. I'm getting so impatient that it's hard not to order another set at the second hand pricing just to get them more quickly.
150, but I wanted the complete figure so I took the hit. I am a big fan of the manga too and I could not believe that a actual figure was being made so the hype just overruled my financial sense.
$150 certainly isn't cheap but at the same time that was the price for admission and I don't think it's hype but complete a look you have actual knowledge of and attachment to. I say well worth it as long as we're happy! As someone who has a real familiarity with the source I'm really looking forward to your thoughts when you get it all. If Ryuumaru matches the quality of this then man Sentinel will have really finished this year strong between these two and Iron Giant. In fact they could easily end up being at least 3 of my top five figures of 2018.
Alright so this is something that I just thought of chatting with a friend tonight. What if D4Toys' shipping is so expensive because they're just putting down a ballpark number that they feel would be the absolute highest to the very opposite edge of whatever country? I mean, they can't calculate actual shipping not having the product, boxed, and anyone's specific address so it would make sense? Definitely not condoning it (and if that's the case I wish they'd just invoice separately for exact shipping later,) but just wanted to share a theory. Got the real color Tsugumori variant today and honestly I like it better. It's not as "clean" but the color separation is a lot more attractive to me. Here are some pics: I finally put together the rifle at full length as well... I knew it was long but freaking 32.25"! Just nuts.

Old news for everyone else but I just got my Dino Getter and I like him a lot. The color layout is just gorgeous. Not sure where he’ll end up but he’s on the miscellaneous shelf for now.
"Old" yes but it's nice to see some excitement on this. Honestly I have yet to pull mine off of the shelf and even play with it and you're encouraging me to do something I should have literally years ago now, ha.
Copy and paste from another board since this came up there; I was asked by Sentinel to start relaying that the limited, hard-dated preorders truly are limited, one-off things. Kind of sucks but at this point if we're even thinking about a figure with an affair on kit it's probably best to just buy the add on kit regardless
