Hey all. I have recently been trying to sell some Movie 2007 stuff on the junkion forums, to no avail, so I decided to send bbts a list of the figs to see what they'd offer. Here is the list.

    Leader Prime

    Premium Leader Megs MIB

    Leader Megs

    Voyager Starscream

    Voyager Ironhide

    Deep Space Starscream MIB

They offered me $75 in cash, or $90 store credit. I really need to get rid of these figs, and I'm just not sure I should accept the offer. Any advice?

I'd take the deal. It may not be a whole lot of money, but it's better than nothing.

    Ebay:
Is it "$75 cash OR $90 store credit" or "$75 cash AND $90 credit".

The stuff you have really isn't in demand as BBTS was clearaning MISB Premium Megs half a year ago. $90 credit is fair but unfortunately you'll have to cover the shipping costs and that makes it less worthwhile.

Pretty good deal. I'd say you should take it.

No way!! You could put a BIN on eBay for original store prices and get more than that.

    Good deal.

I've done it before. I wanted to sell a LOT of TFs instead of selling them off one by one. And not everyone is a gem... Sent two boxes worth...

Yea, I got credit. And the service was good.

Pretty much bought all my Animated figures through BBTS with the credit.

Just beware, they do tend to mark up figures you will buy (with your new credit). So just check your prices and you'll be fine...

Also estimate you shipping costs, too. You'll pay to ship to them and youll pay to claim your credited purchases, too. Just factor it in the whole deal...

Looking back, I should have used the credit towards imports and "non retail" TFs... But next time I sell a lot of TFs, I'll use the credit on Takara items...

You're getting about 50% of retail in exchange which is pretty typical when selling to a store. You could always spend the $.40 for the insertion to see if you can sell the stuff on ebay for more. If you do sell to BBTS I think I'd take the cash. Sure the credit is $15 more but it'll get eaten up by shipping.

    Ebay:
Selling on Ebay hits you with both paypal and ebay fees which on average add 15%. But the buyer pays shipping. $80 on ebay is the break-even point versus taking the $75 cash from BBTS.

This might depend on whether you routinely buy from BBTS or not.

Yeah, but once he gets raked over the coals with the E-Bay fees, Paypal fees, and hassle of shipping multiple packages, he comes out roughly the same

Try TFsource, and see what they would offer. Never sold any of my Transformers to them before, but hey.

    It's an option.

I'd try to negotiate a price that you think is fair, but not too astronomical. I sold some armada stuff to them a few weeks ago and bumped the agreement up by $15. The worst they can do is say no to the offer of raising the price and you'll still have $75.

How long does it take for TFsource to give you an offer? I asked for a quote more than 2 days ago and still nothing. BBTS has replied to me twice already.

It might take a couple of days for BBTS if you send it before the weekend.

They have bought from me and it's really helped me out, but my other 90's Marvel and Batman crap I have left that I want to get rid of they aren't interested in buying.'

Take the money, because it's money.
