You're probably correct. Are there any differences between the original & reissue?

Yeah, he didn't mention vintage. But he said G1.
But the thing is, you can't really say reissue = g1 right? Reissued toys should always be called g1 reissues. And the price he's selling is definitely not reissue prices.

It's probably a reissue, because alot of the other stuff he's selling are reissues.

Personally, I see no reason to be skeptical. What if the seller is telling the truth? There doesn't seem to be anything suspicious in the auction.

I agree he probably should say reissue to be clear on the matter.

that's only true if you don't care the difference between vintage and reissues. If buyer was expecting a vintage toy and getting an reissue instead, will he be happy about it? What's worse is if the buyer complains to the seller, the seller will just say "I never said this is a vintage toy".(Funny, because sellers selling KOs saying exactly the same thing)
My point is seller probably knows what he's selling but "purposely" don't put that "reissue" word in there to try to cheat on some newbies(Not necessary true for predaking, because we not sure if it's a vintage or not, but look at the megatron he's selling)

I think you're drowning common sense in dark suspicion. If you're not sure if it's a vintage or a reissue, why not just email him and ask? Sorted. :)

Yup. I got both, and that is the only difference.

I honestly think if I were to bid, I'd just ask the seller first.

Still seems like a fair price regardless, though.

Looking at all the other stuff that guy has for sale, I'd say it's probably a 90% chance that it's just reissues

He's got a predaking, sixshot, megatron, and prime all up for bid. All of those have been reissued in recent years, so I'm thinking they are all takara reissues. Also, the roller he has for prime looks like it might be the silver one which was in the encore line right?

Thats a Re issue, looks like it for sure. The manual is so clean and so crisp... and comes from the reissue
