I am trying to sell my hockey cards collection, due to some financial problems, but the thing is, I don't know how to go about it, and where to go. I have over 3000 cards

    ebay, honestly.

I don't think hockey cards go for as much as they used to, though.

Generally, people on ebay would make:

-complete yearly series and complete sub-sets
-complete team sets (either by year or random lots)
    -by player
-rookie lots, superstar lots, and goalie lots

Also, as an incentive to buy your lots, some sellers include "bonus" special cards, ie, buy 5 lots and get 5 jerseys cards, or buy 10 lots and get 2 free, etc.
