Just realized that one of the plastic colors on this figure is gold... Hopefully that doesn't bite us in the ass later down the road.

I heard hasbro fixed GPS years ago I don’t think any modern gold figure has ever dealt with it. My combiner wars G2 Slingshot has went through so much torture over the years from shelf dives and more and he’s still solid

 

Rampage stares into the lifeless head of Transmutate, as the Maximals look on.

Optimus Primal, to Silverbolt: Cheetor and I will take care of Rampage.

Silverbolt, to Optimus Primal: No...let him be. For the moment, we are brothers.

Rampage charges at the Maximals, brandishing Transmutate's skull: Eat slag, Maximals!

Of course, the episode ends with Silverbolt's line as the camera pans out, but I do so look forward to creating this alternate scene. For such a highly-regarded episode, releasing Transmutate as a repaint/remold of a Fossilizer who is intended to explode into pieces is rather...irreverent to say the least, but I love it. Pre-ordered.

Fembots and Beast Wars mean an instant buy from me and I always had a soft spot for Transmutate.

 

I'd you talk to certian users "cheap hollow plastic syndrome" is worse

 

There's been a few times in the past that GPS was claimed to be fixed, then a couple years later the figures that "fixed" it disintegrate. Based on CW G2 Slingshot currently surviving I'd say it's a good sign, but it's always something to be cautious of. After all it takes a few years to kick in.

I prefer the Prime Arcee repaint, but this is the more affordable option. 

 

Honestly, love it. She looks just as horrifying as the original Transmutate model did, and it's a mold I'm already a big fan of! Definitely pre-ordering this bad boy (girl?)
