So for Christmas one year, roughly somewhere in 1998-1999 I got a transforming bear robot toy. It was blocky, it had gold and red, and was maybe voyager sized? If I remember right the head of the bear came off, maybe to become a shield. I'm thinking if anything it was a KO, or from a random one-off robot toy line, but I've been googling the hell out of it and can't come up with anything. I can't remember too much, seeing as this was a while back and I was about 5-6 years old. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if anybody has any questions I'll do my best to answer.

Polar Claw (1996) - Maximal Infantry Battle Commander - www.tfu.info

Maybe Beast Wars Polar Claw? It came out in 96.

Nah, it wasn't the Polar Claw mold. He was really blocky, like no ball-joints, but swivels. His bear head was if I remember correctly, solid gold, with a gloss finish to give it some shine. He wasn't textured I don't believe, really kinda generic robot, so Chainclaw isn't it either.

I remember that when you took off the gold bear head, under it was his robot mode head.

Blocky. I said he's blocky, not textured, like the Animorphs. I already thought about the yellow ranger zord, not it either though.
