I think this thread wins the award for "Thread with the most arguments that have nothing to do with the actual subject of the thread".

    Thanks for the entertainment!;) :D

I'm really hoping that the extra hands don't need to be plugged into the feet for stability. I really hate that look with the PotP combiners. What is the point of having all new molds on the feet if they don't work?

Other than that I'm really digging this set and I can finally finish off my combiner collection!

Well it looks like the feet hare 2 parts with toes/claws up front. So I think that adds stability already?

Well, this is one set I will get definitely get but at used price. I’m tired of TT raising the prices constantly. I will not price myself out of this hobby. I’ll just be patient and work my way around it.

Exactly, so why aren't these all together in one boxed set, just like all their other combiner releases? Again, why are they releasing these in a more expensive way?

For the same reason as any other company with a product....because they know people will pay it.

The Seacons do look nice, but we need to keep this thread on topic, Takara vs Hasbro and how "brand unification" will ruin Transformers forever.

Besides knowing they can make a profit by selling them piecemeal, it's probably also because collectors in Japanese markets may want to troop-build the limbs, to reflect their appearances in Super God Masterforce.

Might be the case. Bit expensive to troop build though. Better of getting a few dozen sharkies.

Why would someone trying to collect an accurate to masterforce set of seacons be better off troop building something that isn’t seacons?

True but just saying that troop building displays are better for your wallet with sharkies. And they look cool in sharky mode.
But yes you are right if it is about a masterforce seacon look.
I am just dying to see what Scylla looks like. I just really like fembots.

Ben Yee has a translation of the pack-in comic available here.

It looks like Galvatron is jealous of a power up Prime was given (Star Convoy?) and wants one of his own.

Is it possible these Selects comics are officially replacing the Legends universe? Because it sure seems to be teasing Super Megatron (who we know is coming and a retool of Titans Galvatron.)

    Possibly?

Also, is it me or is this comic reading left-to-right? I thought manga was read from right to left. Almost as if this comic was meant for international consumers...

So it’s doing a thing where Snaptrap (yes I know it’s supposed to be Turtler, but English names take priority) and Halfshell are brothers. Almost as if they’re teasing a Beast Wars II recolor later down the line.

    Interesting...

As expected, these are harder to resist with the colors applied! :banghead:  Troop-building is clearly out, though. :(

Maybe I can sell some of the other combiners for this. Piranacon is one of the cooler combiners, so I feel it'd be wrong to just skip this release. :sly:

I think the safest gamble in the world is the expectation that a TFW member will eventually come out to complain about arguments/discussions. :lol  I didn't see a heated argument to warrant your comment, but I'll just assume it was getting bad enough to say what you did. :rolleyes2  This isn't an attack on you: it's an attack on everyone who thumbed you! :lol
