Received this after my order for the seacons was cancelled at bbts. also the listings have been removed.

Thank you for reaching out to us! In regards to your question, Hasbro has chose to make those Pulse exclusives for the time-being, initially they gave us the go-ahead to post the first round of listings, which we did, then they told us to pull the listings down temporarily for a few days, which we also did, and now it's been about a month since the initial listings were posted and they have not given us the go ahead and instead communicated with my Products Team that, at this time, will keep the Seacons as Pulse exclusives.

Just a heads-up as well, they are not selling those officially through any other suppliers so be wary of any store that says they'll be getting those figures as they may not be obtained through legal means/may not be officially licensed through Hasbro. So as of right now, we are not getting those yet but honestly, I'm fairly confident that Hasbro will make them non-exclusive after the initial hype has died down. Apologies for the inconvenience, I hope you're able to secure those items!

Same here. Nice of them to tell us this AFTER the Pulse preorders closed.

 

This has got to be the biggest con this company has pulled yet. So much for that brand unification bullshit! Waiting for the inevitable boxset that will be officially sold through Hasbro cause I'm not paying 3rd-party prices for heavy retools that would have passed as retail releases 3 years ago!

 

As much as I don't like the situation either, how is this a con? This has nothing to do with brand unification.

 

What a dick move! The pre orders are sold out on pulse. At the moment 3 and 4 are still up on TFSource, but they could pull out potentially, and even if they did follow through with it, 1 and 2 are sold out, so I wouldn\'t have a complete set

The last few months have been entirely too expensive between Unicron and new waves of fucking everything hitting retail at once. And all of the Pulse, Amazon, and sdcc exclusives.

So I figured I'd get the Seacons later from Bbts or tfsource. Since I missed the narrow preorder pulse window.

By the way, Hasbro, you could have made the limited preorder window a little more obvious.

Looking at eBay prices now, fuck this, i may as well buy the TFC version.

I reiterate from the Star Wars thread: Hasbro Pulse is just the worst.

What is with companies these days and thinking that intentionally pissing off consumers is a good thing? I was going to get the Seacons if I could buy them gradually from more convenient retailers, but this doesn’t make me want to use Pulse, it makes me want to spend my money elsewhere.

I echo everyone else, if I really need Seacons I’ll buy one of the numerous bootlegs or just wait and see if TT make the BWII versions.

Yeah, this does sound bad (and it is), but if the "ugly live-action Sonic" and "#SaveSpiderMan" debacles have taught me anything, it's that the Internet WILL raise hell until the top brass get nervous and decide to change course.

Have seacons on preorder from bbts, have not received any cancellation email or change in in my pre order list.

If these were just 6 random figures then I could somewhat understand this but since the all go together and anyone who wants one will most likely want them all this is just silly.

Dear Hasbro pulse I will not preorder any of these now because you screwed me out of the first two.

It's not Pulse's fault BBTS isn't going to carry these. They jumped the gun assuming they'd be able to secure stock.

 

Um, yeah it is.

 

There's nothing wrong with these being Pulse exclusives. We have exclusives all the time in this hobby.

What is wrong is that this wasn't clearly communicated to retailers/consumers, leaving many people without any way to get them now that Pulse has closed preorders.

 

Stupid thing to do.
"Hey, let's have a pre-order cutoff date even though they aren't coming out for several months!"
Even TFSource is pre-sold out of the first two.
