Seacons at retail? Yes plz. I'll probably pass on the 3-pack as I've got all 3 unless they do some super awesome redecoing.
I hate to be a pessimist, but... He tell me! Until we get proof, I'm taking this with a grain of salt.
As long as its retail, these are bought on site. Hope they redeco them for the movie look. The classics portion of the new generations line seems to be lacking in new molds though. Only new mold we have got wind of for new releases is the Drift mold and the eventual Blurr repaint. Hmmm. Heres to hoping we don't get only redecos and re-releases for the bulk of this line.
There's definitely some evidence to support the Seacons release, but wasn't the 3-pack debunked last time it was posted? If it ends up being real, and the molds are repainted nicely, I might get it. I can see how they could improve upon the Rodimus figure. Galvatron would be useful for kitbashing fodder, and another Cyclonus & Nightstick wouldn't be bad.
I think the debunked rumor involved SDCC, Galvatron, Cyclonus.. and Red Alert... which was a slightly odd combination... someone correct me if im wrong. With Generations supposedly becoming an ongoing line, the 25th anniversary of the first movie next year, and of course the third movie, i'm wondering if they're building to something....it might tie into a US release of MP Roddy too (if it actually exists) Admittedly, that's guesswork.
Oh god that'd be awesome. In America, we got purple Galvatron as a leader class figure. I love him, but I have to admit, he's too large to interact with other guys. In Japan, they got voyager sized purple Galvatron, but that awful pale blue color sometimes crops up ruined it, and it was too expensive. If America got a voyager sized Galvatron and painted it as well as the leader size, that'd be damned near perfect. And now, I'm crushed because it's extremely likely we're just getting Universe Galvatron instead of this hypothetical amazing Galvatron.
Well, if it is a SDCC exclusive, that is good to hear. The toys will all be put up on HTS the next day and everyone will have an opportunity to buy them. With that said, you know EVERYONE will be trying to buy these so update your billing/CC info now, sign in early and be sure your on a fast internet connection lol. Also, do the fans a favor and keep scalping to a minimum. Don't buy more than 2!
Whether its SDCC or Target I am looking forward to next month, soo much good stuff coming out really makes up for the tremendous drought and fact I can't go to BOTCON. I love the Seacons. They have incredible playability. Oh and they display well too!
I'm guessing in the 3-pack Cyclonus will be colored more akin to his Henkei version without Chrome, Galvatron will have his gray plastic replaced with the same dark purple color that's on some other parts of his body, an Rodimus will remain the same, or perhaps at best with a superficial change like a couple small swapped paint apps.
I suspect Cyclonus at least will be a bit more 'screen accurate' . Galvatron may get some more purple too. Hasbrotoyshop.co.uk folded quite sometime ago iirc, and i don't recall them ever offering much in the line of HTS.com exclusives anyway. (?) Yes. it's a problem for UK residents, and many other countries. That's the way Hasbro is. America usually gets first dibs, and international markets are left hanging.
