Well crap. I thought I was done with Kreons but I would not mind picking up that set. That would look good staying MISB too in the open book position. I ended up selling my Kreons because I got fed up trying to locate the blind bags and having to buy larger sets just to get some figures but this could be a perfect one and done set for those who want a good representation of most of the core cast of G1 TFs in one purchase. Not to mention it's at a surprisingly decent price since most blind bag kreons run $3-4 or more if you have to buy a larger set for particular figures.

Plus the BotCon Kreons are Micro-Changers with quite a lot of extra parts, where these ones just have a few accessories.

I wonder why this set is as cheap as it is. It's basically what regular retail would charge, whereas the Dinobot set is a full $100 over retail.

-The amazing pop up box in the Dinobots probably took a lot more hours to create than the box for the Kreons.
-Kreons are much faster to design/redeco than regular toys.
-Kreons are much easier to put together than full Transformers.
-Dinobots have tons of 'special' elements like chrome and translucent plastics.

Probably one or multiple of the above. But yeah, the difference IS big! :)

My wallet will be broke after buying all the exclusives I want from the Hasbro booth. On the bright side, this is penalties the last Transformers exclusive I have to pick up

For them to be charging what amounts to a regular retail price, I'm hoping that means they produced these in regular retail numbers, or close to it. In other words, I'm not really worried about having the chance to pick this up on HTS at my leisure. I'll be F5ing like a madman for the Dinobots, on the other hand.

I, too, would love to get my hands on this set. Hoping it'll get my girlfriend into collecting - she loves my MP Rumble and already told me I "need" to get this set, so fingers crossed.

I wish we didn't have to pay a premium for SDCC packaging

$125 on BBTS and already sold out, that's a large hike in price, whilst this set looks great I won't be paying stupid prices for it! I'll test my luck on HTS, not that I am ever lucky on online stuff, this may end up being another thing I don't get because I couldn't make it to the conventions :(  Gonna have to start doing some conventions, I guess!
