That thing is awesome, even though I have most of those characters it'll still be a nice display piece. Man SDCC is going to be expensive for me.

Oh you BASTARDS. I thought I was going to make it through another SDCC without caring about exclusives. Love the Frenzy and Rumble, wish they could have come up with something for Laserbeak and Buzzsaw though.

oops, I just noticed they included Laserbeak and Buzzsaw in cassette mode. Nice.

 

Whoah, these are awesome.

Frenzy and Rumble and adorable, and pretty cool a lot of these Kreos actually have G1-toy accurate faces and details.

They sure are releasing lots of kreo figures this year.

 

My only gripe with this set is that Arcee and Magnus came out in 86 when they didn't appear in 84. If this set was called Class of the 80's then I can accept that more.

Lot of non-'84 characters in this 1984 set. But super cool regradless.

Well, Shockwave at least appeared in the cartoon along with everyone else. Which makes sense because, even though they're all toy-based, Rumble is blue, so it's clear they're still mostly considering the cartoon.

EDIT: Also, Sideswipe and Shrapnel's names are swapped.

 

Cool, but for a "class of 1984" set, shouldn't it not have Arcee/Magnus/Perceptor?

Also sorta annoyed this is the only way to get a properly colored Shrapnel.

Cool exclusive though.
