ALSO: THERE'S A RECORD IN THERE!

Dude, I'm freaking out. This thing is amazing.

Can anyone make out what's on the label?

Ratbat and Laserbeak were accessories with Animated Deluxes. They don't count as extra figures, not by a long shot. And using the FOC OP mold instead of WFC? Wow.

$185 for this is fucking ******ed. $85? Maybe, it does say it comes with some other stuff.

But a full $125 more than the price of four deluxes? That's really really fucking stupid. I don't care how COOL or OMG SO '80s this is, if you buy this, you are an idiot. Give me $185 and I'll go on eBay and buy you some hair metal albums and cassettes and glue them to these four figures, and I'll still probably make $150 in profit.

Marvel Legends sets at $100 for five figures? Sounds about right. Four DELUXE Transformers for $185? Never in a billion years.

4 deluxes, two "accessory" figures AND A RECORD. Holy balls I wanna know what's on that thing.

This hits every spot for me: toy collector, goofy deco collector, 80s metal schtick, a record, cool art, and presumably a comic of some sort.

Plus optimus has an Arcee tattoo! What's not to love!

Really now? Would you say the same about people who buy Botcon sets? Or the people who bought SDCC Metroplex? Who IMO, was hardly exclusive worthy.

There's a concert ticket as well if you look off to the right by the "speaker".

In terms of demand that can vary based on what the My Little Pony exclusive, or G.I. Joe or whatever. When I picked up my 'Plex, a few people ahead and a few behind didn't get it. Plex didn't sell out till Sunday, while the Jem figures were gone by Friday or Saturday. Hasbro will have horrible lines unless they screwed up their entire line-up for the year.

Its like the toy designers are purposefully fucking with people we have the terrible AOE toyline and then we have this... at least this is glorious in its level of stupid decisions...

That being said, these are awesome in their level of 'WTF' and these seems designed to be utterly nuts. However I don't plan on getting any of these.

Still think the other line-up was better ;)

As ridiculous as the $185 price tag is, I can see why people might buy this set. Heck, I'm tempted myself, especially given how negatively some folks seem to be reacting. I'm hopeful that we might see some at a lower price down the road.

And given that I've seen people charging in the $100 for WFC Megatron alone...

And it cannot be denied that a hair metal theme is fitting for a franchise that got its start in the '80s.

I know it all boils down to personal preference, but is anyone really willing to shell out almost $200 for this hideous and uninspired boxed set????

    .............................................................................................................

..................I...I waited for MONTHS on end to discover what this years SDCC Transformers exclusive(s) is going to be only to have it be revealed AS THIS!!!!!! :mad

So Hasbro is going like :rock  but I'm thinking :drunk  . This is a very bad idea here and it's going to cost them money no doubt about it.

What a load of horse $h%*! I can't even believe this... and who the HELL is it marketed too!?!? I don't even no....

They typically do two Transformers exclusives a year, so that got one left...

This one seems to be shaping up to be a bomb. Prey for something within the realm of reason for the second reveal.

Oh dear me. No thank you, Hasbro.

When I saw the title, I thought it'd be some of Unicron's heralds, like an Universe Ramjet retool of Armada Starscream.
